No one said headbutting was "Ok" in boxing. Any rule deliberate headbutting should result in a point deduction. That indeed happened for Ortiz.
Mayweather not only gets away for throwing two legal (but cheap) punches at someone apologizing to him but he wins the match for doing it.
Most of us had our money on Mayweather. But a fight like that was not worth paying for.
If Mayweather is going to KO Ortiz he should do it properly in a boxing match, not when Ortiz is apologizing to him.

'Protect yourself at all times' stated numerous times. Cortez brought both fighters out the neural corners and motioned them and said 'lets go'. Floyd was within his rights to attack Victor especially considering Victor fouled him. Floyd could have handled it better in far of how the public will percieve it no doubt, but he was going to KO victor the next round anyway, that is why victor headbutted.
