  • Nope, it's not just you as I thought that John Smith could be an older version of Jon-Erik Hexum, especially if you compare the two together when John played Mr. Ames in Justin Morgan had a horse.

  • Is it just me, or did Jon-Erik Hexum look a dead ringer for John Smith of Laramie?

  • I have loved Robert Fuller since I was a kid. I always thought he was the sexiest man alive!

  • London, Woolwich 1960. TV. Maverick, Cheyenne and Wagon Trian, but best of all was Richard Boone in Have Gun Wil Travel.

    Happy trails

    John Cord.

  • Robert Fuller the best cowboy.

  • GREAT video!!! Wonderful tribute!!! Since I saw Robert Fuller as a doctor first, it's strange seeing him as a cowboy. I hope they release this show soon. I'm dying to see it!

  • Yeah, it was weird for me too seeing Bob as a Cowboy since I had first seen him as Dr. Brackett on Emergency, but I have to admit I do like him as a Cowboy! And by "release this show soon" do you mean Laramie? Because Laramie season 3 and 4 are already out on DVD and can be purchased either through Timeless video or Amazon.

  • Hey what episode is 1:40 from? poor robert fuller! he looks hurt! if you know plz let me in on it! thanks!

  • It's from season 3 of Laramie called "The Confederate Express" -- and you're right, our boy gets whooped up on pretty bad! ;-)

  • Robert Fuller......STUD.......

  • It must be rough being a cowboy. lol

  • beautiful kimbersan just beautiful. i guess i'll be spending my next paycheck buying laramie and wagontrain dvd's! lol

    ty

  • Can't wait for season 8 if it ever comes out!

  • what episode is 1:34-1:52?

  • It's from season 3 of Laramie called "The Confederate Express."

  • thanks

  • Nice tribute. The clips go beautifully with the song. Thanks!

  • Thanks! It's such a great song, isn't it!

  • Thanks Kimber. Lovev JESS with all my heart.:-} He is one of my fav. Watching as many Laramie posted as I can. No one has this in Australia (TV). Would love to have on DVD. Keep up the great work .

  • Are the DVD sets not available in Australia? Or just not for your region? I wish that they'd come out with season 8 of Wagon Train too, I'd love to see it.

  • I use to watch Laramie in Mexico when i was a kid, it was great.

  • I Live in Laramie, WY

  • Bob was my first real hero. I've met him 3 times. As others have said here, he's always been a true, gracious gentleman. Met John Smith shortly before he died. He was nothing like I expected. Better. Also a gentleman, but with a sadness in his eyes that I'll never forget. Jess Harper & Coop Smith inspired me to become a writer of romantic tall tales. Gentlemen, you done good. Thanks so much for this vid, Kimbersan.

  • They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul -- to bad you saw such sadness in John's eyes, although I'm sure that they weren't always that sad. But it's nice to know that in his presence of this earth made a difference in your life. Keep on writing!

  • Thanks for that Kimber, have the DVD's so just checked out the Wagon Train one. Like you can't wait for Season 4 (though I have them in very dodgy black and white) I too met Robert a few years ago and he is such a nice man and so appreciative of his fans. Thanks again let me know if you want to chat about any of the episodes. Best wishes Tricia

  • Kimber Just to let you know that Timeless say Season 4 of Laramie is due out later this month and Season 8 of Wagon Train is in the pipeline. Can you tell me which episodes of Wagon Train you took the clips from, if you don't mind? I know the Laramie ones. Such a brilliant tribute. Kind regards Tricia

  • Hi TK & to everyone else who responded with such nice comments. I'm glad that you liked my video, I was able to play it for Bob at the FOTW last year and he really liked it. And yes, I had heard that they would be coming out with season 4 of Laramie and 8 of WT this year and I can't wait! I'll have to go back and check my work & I'll let you know which episodes I pulled them from. I only have season 7 so they're all from that season.

    Kimber

  • Ok, I just checked my video and the first scenes are from "The Myra Marshall Story" and the last scenes are from "The Sandra Cummings Story." The scene with Coop coming thru the bat wings is a small clip from "The Widow O'Rourke Story."

Do you have season 7 of WT? If not, it's definitely worth getting.

    Kimber

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to make such a beautiful tribute to 2 great guys, you obviously like the same episodes as I do. The music couldn't be better. Brilliant. Lets make Timeless Media bring out the other 3 Seasons. Kind regards and Thanks again Kimber.

  • Thank you for this beautiful tribute to "Laramie" and "Wagon Train" and to the special actors who starred in them. Robert Fuller has been one of my heroes since I was a little girl and I was able to meet him at the Memphis Film Festival a few weeks ago. He is very handsome, kind, gracious and a true cowboy and gentleman. It was an honor to meet and talk with him. Kimbersan, the video clips you used are wonderful and the song is perfect! 5 Stars!!!

  • Hi Dixie,

Glad that you liked it & I'm glad that you were able to meet Bob at the Memphis Festival this year. I hope that you all can join us next year at the Festival of the West in March for their 20th Anniversary. I hear that it's going to be great! Bob is so good with his fans too!

    Kimber

  • Love Robert Fuller. Sad to learn that John Smith died. aaaahhh.

  • Love Robert Fuller...My hero and he always will be...great tribute.

  • Wow, thank you for sharing. This is very beautiful. I saw Robert Fuller first in Emergency! and some movies but never have the chance to see Laramie or Wagon Train. I hope they release it on DVD in Germany. My mom told me so often that Laramie is so wonderful and she knows that I loved Western. And I love to see Robert in Western.

    Thanks again

    Take care & God bless

  • Thanks and I'm glad that you liked it. And there are several members on Robert Fuller's unofficial site who have ordered the DVD's from either timeless or Amazon and have had no problem playing them. Or do you mean, dubbed in German?

    Kimber

  • lol nice vid agian aunt kim! whats the show though?

  • I've been a Robert Fuller fan since I was a little girl. I fell in love with Robert growing up in the 1980's watching Wagon Train and Emergency! And now I 've had the chance to see his first tv series LARAMIE and his role as JESS HARPER. Also, watching LARAMIE I've seen another great actor John Smith that played SLIM SHERMAN. Thank you for the video and a trip down memory lane.

  • Beautiful! Thanks for this great tribute!

Robert Fuller is one of my childhood heroes. He inspired me to help other people as a EMT and as a nurse. What can i say more about this man!
