@TheSnowyice it's ten years old. Has been on since 2001! The original series that started all of the Degrassis has been on since 1979, so it's pretty old

The latest years after 6 especially were pretty poor and 8 and 9 are terrible.

It isn't the cast is it the plots are just stupid, it isn't about regular kids anymore, everyone is a "star" ! Ludicrous !

Plus it does seem that the cast is too old compared to what it started out as on TNG

Peoplle, stoop complaining about the new cast, i mean, theses people cant stay on degrassi FOREVER! and if we followed them to college, it wouldnt make much sense to call it Degrassi. theyre dropping people to make the show seem more realistic. it happens, people leave TV shows.

Two shootings are kind of an episode repeater. I mean like, how the character was shot is different, and Spinner wasn't put in a wheelchair like Jimmy, and the shooter didn't kill himself like Rick did. But other than that, they're alot alike.

idk I miss the old cast. The episodes were so much better. Any eps not concerning Peter, Emma, Manny, or Darcy even tho she may not be coming back, suck, man D:

Not really. One episode delt with bullying resulting in a school shooting. The other delt with being held as a hostage in a robbery. (the second not something a teenager would go through but w/e lol.)
