I am so glad to see that I am not the only one who feels this way........not that brief moments of fast sweeping solos don't have a musical place, but to just do this 40 notes per second shit for the length of an entire song...that's overblown ego showcasing, NOT music at all! I'd rather hear someone plug in to a single ended EL84 amp with a LP junior, crank the volume, and play an A chord and let it ring and eventually feedback for 30 seconds before strumming again, this time, maybe an E chord.
