Joel used to use a UV777. They used it to record alive or just breathing with seymour duncans in them (supposedly). I heard something about how they shifted the strings down or something like that for Drop C tuning

If a 7 String can go as deep as a Drop C tuning on a regular guitar by the 3rd fret, how deep can it go altogether? Pretty damn deep.

A standard tuning for 7 string is B. but i down tune it to A on the seventh string. It goes A-E-A-D-G-B-E

hey trent, i do own an ibanez S7320. i muz say this guitar rocks! but the oni thing that lacking is the stock pups. i'm planning to change to Lundgren M7 pups.i used to own a Rg7421 but i sold it off coz i dun really like fixed bridge. the S7320 comes wif ZR tremolo which is the best tremolos so far i'ved ever used. hope this helps.. cheers!

i don't see the point in a 7 string guitar when you can tune down a 6 string.

u save the hassle of tuning down a six string when u can juz play both at the same time on the seven string effortlessly. and also normal six string guitar pickups are not designed to capture low tunes unlike the seven string guitars.

well for one you have the low end notes so you can have low riffs, but you can still shred the high notes as if you were in standard tuning.. another reson is you lose some of the dynamics when you downtune a 6 string it doesnt have the nice attack.
