Shes very unique but how is she going to cope with the different themes thrown at her week after week. Its anther case where you have uniquely or 'alternative' talented singers but end up butching songs that they aren't familiar with. Like Lisa Mitchel, she could come under a lot of pressure performing with rock, rnb/soul and themes from older generations. Versatility may be a problem which is why Australian idol may not be suited to her. Sorry just my opinion.

Almost all performances at this stage of the contest are shortened versions, it kind of sucks when they are good, like in this case, but when you get the bad ones, you wish they would end sooner.... :)
She is a good actress. My best friend was in a production of Fiddler on the Roof with her. She played Chava which isn't really a big role but apparently she made the audience cry. I met her once in 2002 and hung out and her house while my best friend and her jammed. I don't remember much except her great voice and sense of humour.

I loved Brianna up until this point. I was a bit disappointed with her cover of this song.
Fidelity is one of my favourite songs and although I loved Brianna on the show more than any other contestant, she didn't do it justice.
But I am glad that didn't cost her because she is an amazing singer and a really star.
If and when she releases a CD (if she hasn't already) I'll buy it.

Do you actually think this chick has a better voice than Regina Spektor? I can't see how someone could think that... forgive me for not using correct punctuation on a crappy youtube forum...i don't care how "smart" per se they are, i'm saying they are not basing their judgements on their opinions, rather what the think will promote themselves, what they think will add to their own character, make them look good.. which i think is egomaniacal and lame...

Yes, I actually do. I have weird taste in music, though, so maybe the general consensus IS that Regina Spektor is better, I just don't think so.
And I must salute you on that last point. I despise such people.

Hark who's talking, the one who resorted to juvenile and immature insults- "I hope you die in an aids fire", wasn't it? Least I can sound like I'm trying to be intellectual instead of forgetting concepts I should have learned when I was 5. The first letter of every sentence is upper case, remember? And I'll thank you not to resort to gross generalisations to justify your views. And for a lot of those "mindless youngsters" are a lot more intelligent than you give them credit for.

i'm allowed to be insulting without comprimising what i said, i'm not trying to pass myself off as intellectual.. you seem like you are.. anyways.. i happen to like the "aids fire" thing.. combines two forms of dying into an medium which is impossible and therefore absurd and therfore hilarious.. beauty is in the eye of the beholder... and i think she's creepy looking..

Shes very unique but how is she going to cope with the different themes thrown at her week after week. Its anther case where you have uniquely or 'alternative' talented singers but end up butching songs that they aren't familiar with. Like Lisa Mitchel, she could come under a lot of pressure performing with rock, rnb/soul and themes from older generations. Versatility may be a problem which is why Australian idol may not be suited to her. Sorry just my opinion.

true i, but lisa was my fave last year on idol. i tihnk lisa would have coped way better if she had rendered her song like what bobby flynn did to superfreak last year.

Thanks so much for the upload! I don't watch Australian Idol, but I saw her in the ads and I really like her. I hope she does well! I don't like how the song was cut so short.. and those facial expressions really add to the performance, in my opinion..

Almost all performances at this stage of the contest are shortened versions, it kind of sucks when they are good, like in this case, but when you get the bad ones, you wish they would end sooner.... :)

She is a good actress. My best friend was in a production of Fiddler on the Roof with her. She played Chava which isn't really a big role but apparently she made the audience cry. I met her once in 2002 and hung out and her house while my best friend and her jammed. I don't remember much except her great voice and sense of humour.
