What is difference whether BMW tuned or Audi has more power, the bottom line is AUDI won the race it is faster no matter how much more hp Audi got. Audi AG decided to put 580 (factory) HP to beat BMW, and they did it, now it is BMW turn to make (factory) upgrade. Remember it is not how much HP this or that car got, it is how they have been build, the engineering. Great example: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 0-60 mph or 0-100 km/h is about 5.2 sec, which is pretty impressive for a 2.0 engine :)

Y'know what's sad? That Audi V10 was so shitty (The M-V8 was only 9 HP weaker, even with two less cylinders, and 1.2 L of displacement disadvantage) so they had to rice it out! lol. And they only manage 64 more HP over the older, and N/A M-V10! That's sad.
It's the same story with X5M/X6M's 4.4ltr V8 twinturbo engines which is pushing 555HP which if u compare them with RS6's v10 5.0ltr twinturbo pushing 572HP. The outcome was obvious. This was an unfair race from the word go. Although M5 is modded, RS6 is a more powerful Twin Turbo V10.
Why is M5 being compared to RS6 anyway? Why not compare it to the S6? Both have non turbo V10s! Now, that would be a fair race.

Currency Motors has 810 PS...ok maybe and its faster than mtm rs6, but this engine is fore reach 30000km, for sure.
the bmw high rpm engines are pretty good, but its expensive to upgrade this engines (same like ferrari). there are not much tuner for a m3 or m5 (correct me if i´m wrong)

It's nothing exciting in fact that RS6 C6 is faster than M5 E60. After all, M5 E60 is from 2005 and is 3 years older construction than RS6 C6. You can equally well compare RS6 C5 with M5 E60, there is 3 years difference eighter. I think that you understand nothing about cars, if you ignored so simple facts that M5 E60 is older construction and has naturally aspired engine with the same capacity and keep up with biturbo V10.

It's the case in RS6 and M5 competition that it's hard to compare both cars, because of big difference in premiere date on market. One can even claim that three year is difference in generation from which both cars come. My point is that twofold: (1) it's nothing exiting in fact that three years yonger car wins over older construction, it'd strange, if it'd be otherwise; (2) you can equally well compare M5E60 with RS6C5 and say that rival for RS6C6 is coming.

What is difference whether BMW tuned or Audi has more power, the bottom line is AUDI won the race it is faster no matter how much more hp Audi got. Audi AG decided to put 580 (factory) HP to beat BMW, and they did it, now it is BMW turn to make (factory) upgrade. Remember it is not how much HP this or that car got, it is how they have been build, the engineering. Great example: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 0-60 mph or 0-100 km/h is about 5.2 sec, which is pretty impressive for a 2.0 engine :)

Y'know what's sad? That Audi V10 was so shitty (The M-V8 was only 9 HP weaker, even with two less cylinders, and 1.2 L of displacement disadvantage) so they had to rice it out! lol. And they only manage 64 more HP over the older, and N/A M-V10! That's sad.

It's the same story with X5M/X6M's 4.4ltr V8 twinturbo engines which is pushing 555HP which if u compare them with RS6's v10 5.0ltr twinturbo pushing 572HP. Some will say that the X5M/X6M both are pushed to their limits because their V8s, i'l say BMW's never pushed their cars to the limit. Like the E46 M3 which they pushed 1046hp with no problems using a single turbo. Anyways i hope BMW use the 600HP V10 which they supplied the Veritas RsIII with on the next gen M5/M6. It will be so crazy.

Audi is OVER 100 years even that the first Horch automobile was produced in 1901 the actual company traces its origins back to 1899, it has more racing success and years of experience than BMW wishes for on road and off road, BMW was founded in 1916 and actually started vehicle productions in 1929.
