  • Loud explosions heard in NFZ, after the final announcements made to LTTE to release civilians Several loud explosions have been heard in the NFZ soon after army made the final announcement for the LTTE terrorists to release the civilians held hostage by them this afternoon (Apr 8). The army has made announcement using loudspeakers positioned few hundred meters short of the western border of the NFZ.
