I cannot wait for Skymorroblivion. You can play Oblivion, Morrowind, and Skyrim all on the Skyrim engine. Soon adding Daggerfall as well, giving access to Hammerfell and High Rock.

Also Vivec himself hid the message in his 36 sermons, lookup the Trial of Vivec:
"He was not born a god. His destiny did not lead him to this crime. He chose this path of his own free will. He stole the godhood and murdered the Hortator. Vivec Wrote This"

And then tribunal came and saw that Dagoth Ur was tempted by tools, beat him and took the tools. And then they themselves was tempted, and made themselves gods. With this action, dark elves appeared(People skin changed all over the Morrowind).
@metakiluku Actually he is correct. You are quoting the 'canon' version preached by the Tribunal. The reality however is that Neravar was betrayed by the Tribunal ... thats was the cause of the curse from Azura ... that turned the Chimer to the Dwemer ... and prophesied Neravar's return.

Honestly, I like the voice. It doesn't sound gay or harmeful, it's the perfect one for Dagoth Ur! I'd rather play a game with voiced dialogs, then one without.

2) If you don't like the voice ... then by all means ... turn off your speakers. I LIKE this new voice ... and I don't think that Dagoth Ur should sound like an imperial (as he did in Morrowind)
3) If you don't like Dagoth Ur's mesh\mask\eyes then ...... no worries ..... because the original mesh (body + mask + animations) will be restored shortly. ;)
what sucked is on morrowind you had to get three items sunder and the magic dwemer gauntlets and a shortsword. and you had to have that fat dwemer activate them for you otherwise killing dagoth wiuld be impossible....
The voice actor did a very, very good job, but, I think he should've done the voice acting for Vivec. If you check the sound files for Morrowind, Vivec sounds like that, only more evil and muffled. Dagoth Ur is the Demi-God with the clear-spoken voice of a gentleman.
@MistaaMojoRisin I dunno, I think the voice actor did a brilliant job, it sounds almost exactly like how Dagoth Ur sounded like, it's the voice effects they applied after the recording that made it sound a bit too ... throaty and evil-like.
@IMMAREAPER You can't loot his mask because his body disappears when he is killed. But the mask is included within Vvardenfell Imports (a mod on which Morroblivion is dependent) and you can get the mask from there.
@finalfatasyfreak49 Actually, it happened 30 or 40 years before Oblivion. This is The Elder Scrolls, not Pokemon. The scale of TES is extremely grand.

If you don't reach Tel Fyr in time and get cured, you become a full-blown corprus monster and can go join Dagoth Ur and eventually become a god. You can launch an all-out assault on Vivec if you stay with Dagoth Ur, but it's possible to betray him and side with Vivec or even betray both of them and rule alone. It's pretty darn epic as far as endings go ^^
I love the voice Darknut included in the GDR mod. It doesn't reflect the view that Dagoth Ur isn't a misguided, overpowered politician as well as the original but it sends shivers up my spine.
@XHashmi My newer videos on the same setup seem much less laggy. I think there was some problem with the cell (we have some bad collision meshes that cause lag).
@whatisabercowich Dagoth's Chimer body was destroyed by the original Nerevar. In Morrowind it isn't specifically stated, but his new body looks more like a Dunmer than that of a Chimer.

Darknut didn't do the voice for Dagoth Ur; it was someone going by the handle of Tyana Rie. Darknut incorporated his voice mod into Greater Dwemer Ruins.
