  • I've been waiting forever to be able to buy this video!! When can I do that?

  • So what was the answer at 1:39??!!

  • Apparently, Dom was so worthy of mention, they had to put him up twice on the behindthenotes homepage.

  • he came to my school for a master class and i got my guitar and an album autographed!!! i know it seems like boasting but i had to share that

  • He's a terrific acoustic player, personally, he suffers what a lot of great acoustic players do on electric, he just doesn't make it sing. He always sounds like he just bought a new pedal board and hasn't found the good sounds on it yet.

  • Who gives a TOAST?.................That is respect right there....Andy Summers ...a legend!

  • in my opinion the amateur can do better than the professional since the first is doing it by love and the second for money...

and I think also that speaking much in interviews brings false ideas

  • @gottslavey I agree, that love for what you are doing is very important, but i belive, professionals can love what they do too... Sting for example loves what he does. On his "All this time" DVD he says music has "never been work to him - although it's hard work"

But still I agree with a bit, because there a some amateurs better then professionals I think.

  • he always has such a small bodied guitar

  • Lame website, I'm sure Dominic didn't charge for the interview but you are charging to watch it.

  • Does anyone have Dominc's CD November?

  • Have anyone the newest Dominic's CD "november"? I can't get it in my country jet... 1

  • Does someone know what piece of music is he playing at 2:22?

I think it's Bach but I'm not sure

    Thank you!!

  • I love this guy!..He's fabulous!

    great style!

  • Please tell me this is just a teaser and that there is a full interview somewhere. He touches on some really good points and then there's an edit. lol

  • So true. (^_^) Any one that viewed this edit job that is not familiar with DM might get the impression that he was really eccentric or a little batty.

  • tanks!

  • the best guitar teacher in this world of shit

  • @moimoiac emo ^^

  • I Play guitar with 10 fingers man

and i learn play Bach with Miller

    and so...

  • @moimoiac congratz dude

  • " this is the shit " That part was funny. He is an awesome guitarist

  • Dominic is unrepeatable))))))))))))))))))))

  • Someone knows from which song he took his playing at 2:43 - 2:55 ?

  • @deejaysoulution

    roxanne by police !!

  • great prewiev....thanks a lot ! Dominic Miller is a big guitarist !

  • he's an awesome person. was lucky to meet him once

  • Is anyone able to transcribe this awesome version of roxanne he is demonstrating? I'd be more than glad for chords or tab.

  • I saw Dominic play The Venue in Leeds, February 07 - amazing stuff!

  • Comment removed

  • Usually musicians don't like to talk about it like this. It is refreshing to hear him discuss his playing. Looks sort of like Heath Ledger. I am a real fan of his playing and I love Roxanne when he is playing it for Sting.

  • I played on his guitar today, he came to visit our school, and played some of his songs and gave some advice =D

  • he´s a great musician. but i don´t like jazz melodies. they seem to be unfullfilled, kind of empty, no real structure.

  • Wow, you really sound like you know what you are talking about

  • Dominic Miller is so underrated.. He's a master!!

    such beautiful melodies

  • mrclean is right... it's like watching Nigel Tufnel from Spinal Tap - props to Dominic for mentioning Vinnie Colaiuta!!!!!

  • really good

  • this is like a Nigel Tufnel interview

  • I like guitarists who aren't afraid to just play songs the way they are originally. So may people wanna make it their own and add stuff lol

  • I've been such a fan of Dominic Miller for years!! Nice to see a clip like this. Thanks for sharing!! Peace!

  • brilliant guitarist...dedicated to the instrument...it's no wonder he plays with Sting..brilliant..!!

  • Such a down to earth and inspiring chap! I would give my right nut to play guitar with him. Sting would have to play bass too tho if i'm to justify the loss of a tezzie but I reckon it would be worth it.

  • @patchster LOOL :)

  • Mentioning the maestro Vinnie Colaiuta!!!

    RESPECT

  • dominic miller came to me scool and taught me and a couple of me friends hes a legend

  • that was useful thanks, except where you cut repeatedly mid-flow----which i guess is supposed to drive me to ur site but only succeeds in irritating, frankly.

  • Awesome dude.

  • God bless 'im but he reminds me of Nigel Tufnel in this one. :D

  • awesome guitarist. dude roxxxxxxx

  • I wanted to see the answer!

  • i love to see the rest of it
