@underthegun369 - i think you can tell when he sings that english isn't his first language. if you listen to a lot of the words on earlier songs, you will notice it more; i like it though. i think Phoenix is a great band and the lead singer has such an amazing voice. i can't even pick a song i don't like by this band. the french really can't go wrong as far as i'm concerned! <3
i love his french accent, it's the french touch! and i think its great to keep it, not take american accent like the others.. i find it very cute (even if im french)
