  • I bet no one would openly be a homophobe in front of Esera Tuaolo.

  • This is my uncle.

&& I love him no matter whatt :)

    yeahhh..

    Thats all i gotta say

  • Esera Tuaolo is "The Blowin' Samoan". It is very appropriate he was drafted and began his career with the Packers.

  • Esera Tuaolo (b. July 11, 1968) became the third NFL player to come out after David koPAY & Roy FRANKlin SIMMONS. Tualo separated from life partner, Mitchell Wherley, in July of 2007. This tidbit is unrelated to 240-04-8891—despite SIMMONS, who is HIV+, preceding Tuaolo in coming out. Tuaolo recorded the last tackle of legendary NFL DENVER Bronocs QB John ELway, while Orande GADsDEN (b. 8/20/71) out of Winston-Salem State caught the last touchdown pass of legendary NFL QB Dan Marino’s career

  • Orande GADsDEN began with the Dallas Cowboys in 1995, undrafted out of Winston-Salem State. The school was founded by Dr. Simon Green Atkins, who was born on JUNE 11 (1863) and otherwise unrelated to 240-04-8891. esERA Tuaolo being credited with the last tackle of Denver Broncos QB John ELway is unrelated to 44th prez Barack Hussein Obama being nominated in DENVER by the Demoncrats in 2008. Also unrelated: “Goddamn America” preacher Jeremiah WRIGHT; Bessie MEARS; the 121 Whitfield address

  • hes not infected is he?

  • didn't he retire before coming out ? he was on the first Rosie O' Donnell gay cruise with his bf and their 2 adopted kids

  • I think he was very brave to come out like he did. My hat is off to him.

  • Bravo for him! kudos!

  • Even though he's gay it doesnt mean dat he like wears freakn tube tops, respect the man, he kept his sceret since elementary school, he changed so many lives, Tuaolo is a real man not a WO-men but a Men, he spreads the word to help people

  • My uncles played at OSU with this guy

    Definately a great person

  • My girlfriend gave me his book to read because I made a little remark! ha ha. Way to go bro. I played At Bakersfield College and UCLA around the time you were playing and you were the man. I remember your name. Peace.

  • Great message from Tualo!

  • Lucky man ...

  • Great video! Glad that Esera, Mitchell and their family are role models for the gay community. Would love to see/hear more about their lives after coming out. I read "Alone In The Trenches" and enjoyed it also. But it also helped to open up old wounds of my own and my old feelings of what it was like when I was in the closet. I could feel for Esera and Mitchell because I have been through some of those same things (But I am not a star football player).

    rodeobear

  • I am so glad that he came out and now has a beautiful family.. He must be so brave to have kept that secret for so many years...

  • not really brave, more like a survival tool; want to live, don't say shit!

  • This video is awesome.
