I have a problem with my USB adapter. When I first got it (along with my R4i 3DS) about 2-3 months ago, it worked fine, but now my computer won't even recognize it. I tried using a SD card adapter, but my computer won't recognize that either. I've found some sources online that say my micro SDHC won't work with ordinary SD card adapters, but my brother has all the stuff that I do and his adapter works just fine. Can anyone please tell me why mine isn't working?

I have an original r4. it IS REAL, and i installed the r4 wood and everything. It Loads all the games fine and they work fine. The only problem that i have is that there is NO TEXT whatsoever. Yes it is.

The micro SD card will run slower if you dont and have more of a chance it will get corrupted.

If it gets corrupted u will loose all the information on it.

and have to start over.

if u have stuff on your micro sd card, don't do a quick format, as it will not clear the files which may be on there, if you do have stuff on your micro sd card you should uncheck the "quick format" box

I just did this without formatting, just deleted the old folder off it and dragged the new one, didn't bother with moonshell though, just ignored it. Everythings worked fine but whats moonshell? What reasons is there of having it? Thanks, nice video and very helpful.

Try the unPatched version I heard this sometimes can be the problem since the Kernel 1.26 will fix it anyways.

R4 Rev in video only supports 2gb Micro SD cards.

R4-SDHC supports 4gb, 8gb, 16gb, & 32gb Micro SDHC cards.

Micro SD cards that are bigger then 2gb are SDHC not just SD so you will need R4-SDHC if you have a 4gb or 8gb.
