Those are just stock CR Speed pouches, and that's the offset they come with. I don't know if anyone makes custom spacers or hangers for them. There are other options that have more or less offset, depending on what you're looking for...
paid9mm - the holster is actually right behind the point of my right hip, and is basically in legal position for all USPSA and IPSC divisions. That said, it's not for IDPA - however, IDPA won't let you run a holster anywhere near this racey, so... it's a moot point. Pouches would have to move for USPSA Production, or for IPSC Standard, Production, or Modified.
Don't certain shoots require the gun sit no further forward than the hip bone? If you set your gun up to run this class, it's always in the same place every time. Then muscle memory takes over. Pouches are a different story.. They HAC
@paid9mm its not a class, open is a division, read up a little more dude u can have ur pouches and holster pretty much anywhere on the belt in open division.
Safety comes off after the gun is out of the holster and pointed into the target - I prefer to take it off before forming the grip with my left hand - otherwise, I occasionally have problems with the heel of my left hand interfering with movement of the safety. A slightly safer way is to wait until the grip is formed and the gun is pushed out onto target. DO NOT take the safety off when you form your grip on the gun in the holster...
Thanks for the Video. Went to my first IPSC fun match night before last. Your vid helps. The belt seems very stiff. I did not know that. Again thanks WSM II is about the only holster I've found that will take my Redhawk. Cheers and all A Zone
