Too bad the iso performance is horrible. I returned mine and bought an a55 again. Going to use the 17-50 2.8 lens with the a55 that has 2x better noise performance.

That bird 'tweets' wasn't born to sit in a cage its entire life, to please you and be your pet. Birds are social, gregarious creatures and you have condemned it to a life of misery, living in a prison without any social interaction with other birds. I realize that you just look at that bird as a stupid pet, but please look more closely.  Learn what wild birds really do. It's sad and wrong to imprison an animal. Wake up to your actions, educate your children to respect nature, not abuse it.

@Liamd330 Well, he is just in a larger cage - your house I'm presuming. Are his wings clipped? Even if he is outside with his wings not clipped, that means he is completely dependent on you for food and shelter.  You have ruined it's life, really. Does he fly in flocks of thousands of others just like himself? Does he forage for wild foods that he is supposed to eat? Does he fly, interact, play, compete, bathe, reproduce, and all the other natural behaviors of a free life?

So, if i will buy the Sony A77 (when sell my Canon Rebel t3i only body) can i use my Len with this Sony A77? Can i place my Len at body of Sony A77? Or must buy another Len? Someother Len? What do you know about this?

Love this camera! I only shoot with Nikon, but sony always fascinated me! Some of the negative comments on here are very childish! I think this can be a greeeaat camera. My only beef with it is the EVF. Never looked through it so can't really say if it's good or not. I only judge from the specs and they are great! Also the f2.8 kitlens is amazing. C & N could learn a thing or two from Sony!

@ll7modyll this is in top 3 APSC, but the Pentax K-5 and Canon 7D are better, at least in terms of image quality, which matters most...just checked out some full res samples on dpreview and the images have plenty of noise even at iso 200. Of course, that is what happens when you put 24 mpx in a 23,5 x 15,6 sensor. The good thing is, the price for this camera is pretty good for what it delivers. If I'll ever buy a Sony, i'll go A900, which is still the best camera from them, even without video.

Ive used canon (&D & 5D mk2) and Nikon (D300) and if you really do know your stuff and have tried all three extensiveley you will know you get far more for your money with Sony and technologically they are far more ahead plus they provide sensors for Nikon and Canon want Ziess (Sonys premium Glass) im not knocking Canon or Nikon both are excellent with superb glass but seriously the benifits of the SLT system are excellent.The a77 is a superb piece of kit ! : )

No ovf cost, lesser AF points compare to d7000, no dual card slots, sluggish dial operations, crappy ISO performance compare to 7D and D7000, EVF wont turn on sometimes, Half the batt life of d7000 and cost more than d7000 and 7d. Way to go Sony.

@Liamd330 i am just going by what i have read in a couple of photography mags, the sony A77 is an ok camera but is completely outclassed by the nikon & canon cameras of a similar price. dymamic range isnt very good and with the 70-200mm 2.8 the focusing misses a hell of a lot. you could just get a nikon D700 or D7000 and u could have a much better camera in my opinion.
