No CYMA does not fail, their AK's are very good quality. Although I don't have much knowledge on any other gun they make.

JG and lipo ready don't work well together in the same sentence. I will never trust a china gun using a lipo. the only lipo ready guns are KWA.

nonsense, I have put 15k rounds through my 2008 JG m16a4 with the m130 spring and a 12v 7800 mah battery @20 rps with no problem at all

systema PTW (on red or silver cyllinder) can use LiPo... G&P can use LiPo... Any other gun on a m120+ spring can use LiPo if tuned properly, that's if your talking about 11.1v. If it's LiPo in general, you can use a 7.4v on any gun

If you know what your doing you can do it; Clone+12v battery, if you don't know, don't expect to get 500 rounds out of 'er...15k rounds isn't many...but surprising, even though your not listing all of your upgrades I am 100% sure. You know a little more than most here to get it through even 1k rounds...

Hell--I just don't like clones =). I don't need tons of guns so I might as well stick to the GOOD stuff

I have a limited budget, so it's easier to buy a clone and upgrade over time, though some of the new clones really don't need any new parts. I am running the stock wiring, m43 torque motor, stock gearbox + bushings, systema type 0 cyllinder, G&G upgraded piston, JG gears, JG piston head and cyllinder head, proper shimming, greasing, 12:30 AOE, madbull barrel with spacer mod. (the barrel doesn't wobble around now)

The next things to go in are a mosfet and either a G&P m160 motor or a JG m93.

Nice set up; economical to say the least! If she works...my first clone; in mid '07 was toast, and I mean toast after ~ 12k rounds It was Echo 1's first version m4. I gotta reshim my gun, as I won't be using it till may--fricken Wisconsin...we can only play, except for shotty wars, 4 months out of the year without worrying about our guns...We have snow on the ground...grrr.....

Yeah, I know how WI is, I live in PA though and we can still play right now, it's in the 40's. I have played when it was -5 before, though it was with a gun with a m85 spring in it so I couldn't crack the gearbox. (the hopup became non-functional because of the cold unfortunately)

M130's make good DMRs, High speed is fun but a money pit. I've had ~500$ easy in to them...=(

The coldest i've ever played was my first game, -25 not including wind chill...with a stock gun...probably why it broke now that I think about it...downgraded spring is the best thing you can do in that weather other than using like...a springer pistol...

I'm aiming for m160 to start, I will move up to ms190 and ms210 for an experiment once I have enough to buy parts for them. (that's for unlimited skirmishes, the m150-170 will be for limited) If you do a high speed on a m110-m130 they tend to not be money pits, you can shortstroke and get great results. (corvid's 46 rps ICS m4 uses a m110, pupdawgs 52 rps p90 uses a ms190) For my m16, I am going for a metal body to get an ajax STS and sorbo so it won't break from the cold or the strong spring.

crappy wiring such as old CA cannot handle a high discharge lipo, and some motors will burn out very quickly

Lipo ready pretty much means that the electrical components can handle stuff like a 11.1v 25c lipo, not that the components can handle a ton of abuse. A good example of that would be the first gen KWA guns (they had their problems...) and first gen "lipo ready" JG guns.
