It was just the fact that before the mission I had gotten the "DISTURBING CONTENT - SCARY SHIT AHEAD" so I kept waiting for it through the whole level for some horrific scene like the Airport in MW2 and then this happened. 1 kid dies and the camera doesn't even show her getting blown up. It was so weak I found it funny.

Movies like Saving Private Ryan, 300, Saw etc. don't affect me either, they're just there and don't tend to make me have any reaction whatsoever. None the less, I (I can't put enough stress on I) think it's funny. You may think otherwise.
