As the church bells rang 29 times- we knew it was the final end of the line. Now 29 miners are at Heavens gate, with dirty faces asking "Are we too late?" God said with a halfway grin " No my sons, come on in." They placed their mining lights on Heavens floor, God said "Job well done..leave your boots at the door. (In memory of the fallen UBB miners)

As a wife of a former coal miner and an old friend of one of these men who lost their lives your song really touched me.Every time your husband is underground and the phone rings your heart stops for a second fearing the worst. My heart aches for all those family members who received that call. You dedicated a beautiful song to these brave men.GOD help close the wound that is left in their hearts.

He had gotten saved the sunday b4 and wrote a letter to his wife and baby telling them he would watch over them from heaven if something ever happened to him. I had no idea Jason wrote one too. I hadnt heard that Obama had read one of them. Wow.

This song made me cry when I first heard it. My husband is a coal miner and I pray to God every day that he will be safe and make it back home to me. My heart goes out to each family member and friend that lost a loved one on April 5th. May god be with them.
