This is the most stunning and enchanting place I have ever seen..I have lived in North America my whole life, and have travelled from one coast to the other, and all the way to South America. This is true...But Celtic is a broad range of music, but does tend to lean more towards Irish. The pipes used in this song are not bagpipes, but rather the Uilleann pipes which are Irish.

The Bodhran is a typical irish instrument.

If you are talking about pipes in general they were invented in turkey/iraq area.

I don't see any Irish people complaining about Irish bands playing Scottish highland bagpipes and wearing traditional highland dress. It's only an instrument.
