Compare to Alexei Ivanov's Demon, on the recording with Melik-Pashaev. He is a demon a girl could easily walk away from. Ots is seductive, irresistible, languid. Very different here from his pop recordings - almost a different artist entirely.

I can't stop listening to this. Georg Ots has a uniquely gorgeous voice. There's something about his vibrato that is very unusual and compelling. I can't think of one other singer who comes close to this remarkable sound.

Я с какой-то пластинки переписал монолог Демона "Проклятый мир!Презренный мир!", который звучит в самом начале оперы, в исполнении Георга Отса.

Вообще Отс пел Демона на сцене, поэтому, возможно, где-то есть и другие фрагменты этой оперы.
