  • Love the advice...follow your passion in life.

  • A goatee is a beard with low self-esteem.

  • The number that he gave is now a non-existing number at NBC. Possibly is old number?

  • @triplenick its an old number for his old show... i looked it up when this came out originally...

  • That made me cry because I didn't listen to my instincts in college and I regret it. If you're in high school or college, think very seriously about what Conan said. There is great wisdom in it.

  • @fredhetz I watched this speech 4 years ago when I was 14, I thought it was funny because I had just become intensely engrossed in Conan O'Brien in the midst of my 8th grade year. In a matter of 7 weeks, I'll be graduating High school, which, let me tell you, is incredibly difficult to fathom. I've been freaking out still about which college to go to, and what I want to do. Watching this again today, Conan gives me the perspective that I truly need for my future. Conan never fails to do that

  • COnan is THEE MANNN...He just Makes u Laugh..and makes joy and laughter out of any situation...This is Why He is The funniest man alive..HE'S AT A GRADUATION AND HE DOESN'T GET ALL CLICHE..SOO FUnnnyyy

  • I would have at least tried to call him that would be fun as hell haha

  • Heh. LOVED the "weird roommate" crack.

  • excellent

  • i knew it would be hilarious, but it was actually a really inspirational graduation speech too

  • conan, lucy lui, bill clinton....stuy has the best keynote speakers! if the great education, super awesome students, great facilities, and beauty of this school isnt enough to make you wanna go, the keynote speakers would definitely change your mind. YOU GO TO HELL BRONX SCIENCE!

  • Funny and inspiring :)

  • I LOVE CONAN!! This would've been so great to have been there.

  • i called the number before

  • that speech was inspiring!

  • Conan is the GREATEST!! I dont know what i would do if he talked at mine.

  • omg.... i would have died to just be there wow... i can't imagine what it's like for that senior class

  • Very impressive! Gotta love Conan!

  • this is still the best speech i ever heard

  • AHHHH!!! Conan is my hero!!! :D

  • what the hell

  • Funniest and most intelligent late night guy ever!!! i love him!

  • i make some sweet sweey coin ................gotta love this guy

  • yea i know styvusant. I live in tribeca. i went to middle school right across from styvusant, but i went to Millennium High School down on wall st.

  • This was awesome.

  • I called that number and someone answered "Late Night". I didn't know what to say so I said, sorry, wrong number.

  • No opinion is more valid that the guy who trumpets the intellectual superiority of Ted Nugent.

  • I like how after Conan says the number, a kid in the front row pulls out his phone to type it in.

  • haha this is so great. clinton spoke at my graduation and he was excellent. conan would have been an equally excellent choice

and anyone can get into stuy. just do well enough on the test. its not a matter of tuition like some other schools.

  • man, i hope this class realized how special they are.

  • "Or whatever the hell it is Ryan Seacrest does" LMAO!!!! hahahahhahahah so true. Love ya Conan!

  • Stuyvesant High School is the best high school in NYC and is one of the best high schools in the America. Not everyone can get in. Stuyvesant is also a rich school due to its location and the students that attend. It's not surprising that Conan would be there for the graduation.

  • so what if its the best h.s ever. they dont deserve all that when there are other schools in ny that don't got half the things they got.

  • man just shut up about other schools. The BOE looks at performance, and makes decisions based on those only. Stuy performs well, other schools like Hillcrest in queens, suck. deal with it.

  • lol i agree.

there's no point in investing more money in schools that don't perform well.

    stuy actually deserves it.

but anyway, we're actually given less money than the avg public hs.

  • whatever...look up the hotchkiss school on wikipedia

  • ... you're comparing a private school to a public one?

  • lol did anyone try that phone number

  • I called it; its the office for late night

  • very hilarious.

  • what the hell does ryan seacrest do anyway? Be ryan seacrest? lol

  • shit i grew goatee then shaved it lol

  • Conan might be jesus but he isn't god!

  • He was kidding?

  • dude he was kidding.

  • he was kidding...

  • where do u get ur info from?

    i call BS.

  • so ur info is solely based on ur opionion and experiences with OTHER tv personalities?

and u have never worked for nor met Conan o'brien?

if so, why must u post fraudulent info about him and his personal business?

  • he was kidding you dumb fuck.

  • That number is the buisness number for his show.

  • jezz, did u call him.

  • lol.

  • yeah.

  • That's the ticket line for Late Night. Late Night is Conan's show.

  • Conan's amazing. He changes the way people look at comedy.

  • It's not a rich person school at all, we're just normal kids. I had no idea he spoke last year, lol! Wonder who they'll ask this year~

  • i wish conan would come to talk to my graduating class in 2010

  • its stuyvesant high school (its two blocks away from ground zero). its a specialized new york high school and the SHSAT(specialized high schools admissions test) is required to get into the school, and it isnt a rich person school. its just a high school for people that can exceed standards in education.

  • Conan is the best, just as smart as he is funny, and a living example of the excellent advice he gave.

  • THat was great. He actually gives really good advice as well. But freekin hilarious!

  • this is great.. conan at its best !

  • It's a public high school - but there is an entrance exam.

  • no, it's a public school; most kids are from studious immigrant families. it just has a good rep.

  • Public school! NYC, I'm guessing you didnt watch all of it.

  • Comment removed

  • dude rules!

  • The number he gives out is the number you call when you want to order tickets for his show.

  • That could be his number it is the area code for New York City

  • I just called it, some guy picked up and said Late Night and i couldn't hear the rest.

  • Great Speech!(clap)

  • brillant, pure genius

  • He's really smart! I love that about him! And the things he had to say...! Wow! Now I want him in my High School graduation!

  • he did it for free :]

  • is that really his number?

  • that's the backstage number at late night.

  • gosh, how much money did they have to pay to get him there?! sheesh... sooooo lucky!

  • I dare someone to call that NUMBER

  • I don't have the balls enough to :( lol

  • they hanged up on me

  • Oh shit, that was his real number. I called it out of a fluke and somebody answered "Late Night". I asked if that was Conan and he said yes. Unbelievable!

  • This is no joke. I just did the same thing.

  • I totally wish what you're saying is true; that, and that the number hasn't changed, haha.

  • conan rocks

  • I honestly believe Conan is the greatest alumni of our mutual alma mater, Harvard University (okay, okay, Teddy, Franklin and John were pretty good too).

Wish he had been around to give me this advice when I graduated from high school way back when.

  • You know, I think I might be the weird roommate haha.

  • lmao

  • THE best keynote speech ever...every senior at any high school should hear this. =D

  • lol i wonder if anyone actually did call him.

  • Afterwards, the graduating class was hazed by years '07, '08 and '09. 2010 later hunted them down and finished them off.

ehe...nah, just kidding. But Stuy's really lucky. We never get anybody interesting at our graduations.

  • Thanks so much for posting this. What he spoke about is what I believe - follow your bliss. Thanks again, Eric

  • that would be hard to follow

  • is that really his phone number? lol

    i would so call it...

  • i finally got the balls up to do it lol and yep the number is real...thats the number of the office at the Conan O'Brien show.lol
