@phncrz my brother has one (Panasonic LUMIX FT10) it's digital and it goes underwater. He's using it on holiday and he has his photos on Facebook that are good quality that he took from under the water. He is using the camera in Central America.

OMG! You were in the Philippines while I was there D; I am saddened by the fact that I could have been graced with your wonderful presence and would have never known. Did you go to (I'm pretty sure it's what it's called) Palawan? My family went snorkeling while I watched from the boat and fed the fish - I'm TERRIFIED of fish. I love fish, in the open ocean they don't freak me out, but the creatures that live in the sand do! Whenever i'm on the beach, I'm terrified of crawfish, or other unnamable things that could attack me.

Awesome! You are so lucky that you can snorkel. When I was in Mexico, we went to this beach that is known for its awesome snorkeling (with fish and turtles and other awesome stuff), and I made the important discovery that snorkeling freaks me out. I couldn't even have the mask on when I was above the surface. So I'm jealous!

Just to fuel your fear of fish, when I was in China visiting relatives, we got to go swimming in this slightly very murky lake. I was 11 and for some unfathomable reason, I kept thinking a giant catfish was going to come out of nowhere and swallow me whole. True story.
