Technically the moonbat is right. I was holding my WASR-10, which is a semi auto copy of the AK47. However, she hasn't "owned" anyone, her inane "bb gun" comment, speaks for itself. Furthermore, AK47's have been built in many countries under soviet licence, particularly China and former Warsaw Pact members, not strictly Russia.
For it to be a "fake", it would have to be marketed as an AK, which it isn't. However such models are commonly called AK's by consumers.
