Epiphone Les Paul Guitar Case

There seems to be two different models of the Epiphone case. The one showed here and one with a gaint "e" on the front with golden hardware. Does anyone know more about these two different cases? CHeers

I disagree with the previous statement....are you saying that my SKB TSA flight certified FLIGHT case won't protect my les paul ultra as well as that epiphone case with the old fashioned flip latches......I don't think so. Not do dis your nice case there, but mine is airline certified, and it only costs $129...........skb.com  ;)

@nr2237 telecasters aren't made by epiphone.this is an epiphone case,for les pauls.it probably couldn't fit a tele,different body shape.

@DarkNunzio97 Sure it does! The special II is the only model it dosen't because the special has a smaler body.

BkkCheesepie; Tru, but you don't really buy a Les Paul to reproduce the sound of single coils. I love the ultra II because of the Nanomag acoustic pickup in it. It makes it a very diverse guitar. The chambered body does make the HB'S tone more suited for classic rock, not metal. Soory for spelling errors, i've had a few cold ones.

You can get the case for around $80 through musicians friend, sam ash, guitar center etc.

You want a les paul as a second guitar? Ge tone, i bet your strat will start to collect dust. Les pauls, either gibson or epiphone are great guitars. Might i recomend the ultra II? Just be sure to get one that goes for over $500 street, as the quality is much better than the cheaper models.You will not be dissapointed!

@SpookeyEyeGhost different people different strokes, i dont like the ultra 2 honestly, i feel that the regular ones gives a fully sound, i maybe wrong but again, different people different strokes, its hard to reproduce the clarity of the SCs with the HBs

I'm looking for a guitar to buy as my second guitar, I currently have a squire strat that came in a starter pack. Would you say that an epiphone les paul would be a good second guitar?

@Scorch1494.  This guitar you see in the video is an excellent guitar. Yes, it is not a Gibson, but the soul of a les paul is there. It has an incredible sustain that you will find only on the guitars of this type. (fixed bridge). It has the typical tone of gibson les paul, as is done with exactly the same wood (mahogany).Of course, if you prefer a brighter sound, like a strat, you can buy a fender for $ 500-600. it's all a matter of taste. Keep on Rocking!

I just bought this case and an Les Paul Ultra II. Yes, The guitar fits perfectly!! This is a great way to keep an awesome guitar safe! By the way, LOVE THE GNR....Great choice!! This case is well worth the money.

Fits like a glove so the headstock wont flop around and there is plenty of space so the tuners dont get all twisted. Workhorse case. Nice.

@illRockYouUp ... the special 2 has a smaller body(the standard is more thick)... so you may have to put something like a foam in order to raise the body so the neck can be in correct position (parallel to the ground), like I have shown in this video. :)
