Actually my mini is also paralyzed and I think you grow to love them even more when something like this happens. Dacshunds have so much zeal for life that even when they lose use of their back legs they still go on like life is perfect.
Awe I know this video is supposed to be a happy one but I just teared up watching your little weiny. :( So happy she has a wonderful family to take care of her! My heart would break if one of my dogs got paralyzed. :(
