This car handles extremely well. On tarmac, in the woods, in sand. I know it, because I became the supposed-undercover-top secret-alternative semi-skilled- Northern European with dark hair and love for wooden floors-winner at the 2005 Paris Dakar. This is not really a chinese car. What we have here is a warmed up version of the Isuzu Mu, once proudly sold in the US and Japan, then salvaged by Opel as the Frontera and now again re-salvaged as the Landwind. They didn't screw it up, it always was junk to begin with, made in Japan.

which approx. has the meaning of technical supervision association.

This is a big German company specialised in testing wares for safety.

German cars and motorbikes have to pass a technical inspection every two years. You can do this at a number of places, most inspection bureaus are owned by TÜV. TÜV also performs crash tests at a high sophisticated level.

sorry dude but you don't have any idea of automotive structures. This examples is a nightmare of a crash. The A-Pillar deforms like a piece of wax. Steering wheel travels all the way inside the car. And your front wheel doesnt move under the car, it moves right in your legs crushing everything in its way.

So if you wanna die quickly, this car is one of the best ways to do

Actually, I'm known as quite an expert in cars, and can perfectly see, that the front wheel moves into the leg room of the cabin, which is fatal, if not lethal. It's just my sense of ironi, and you do seem to understand it somewhat, since you start your comment with a "lol." Clearly, there is a collapse of the cabin, seen with the buckle of the A-pillar, as you mention, and also the roof is pushed upwards and back, which just underlines the lack of structural integrity.

They tend to be made in the country in which they're going to be sold, with the exception of supercars (since if someone is paying £200k or more for a car, the extra 5-10k to get it imported is nothing and the amount of them they sell is fairly small in comparison to, say, the Ford Mondeo).

Yes they do try to assemble in home but the majority of parts are being produced in those countries. and I guess you really need to see the news. Yes there are cases like Ferrari and Bugatti who manufacture almost "by hand"

Also, the parts that are sourced from overseas will have to be produced to the safety and quality control standards of the country they're being shipped to, so it doesn't really make a difference (at least as far as the safety/quality is concerned) WHERE the hell they come from!
