  • Ths BNP.. What a bunch of wankers.

  • @maerkwurdigliebe They do shame to Oswald Mosley, God rest his soul, and even to Tyndall. But eventually we will have had enough, end then its back to the good ole British Empire! Down with towel-heads! Down with packies! Im a fascist and Im proud! (slight sarcasm intended)

  • HAMMER.....HAMMER......HAMMER!!!!

  • in the end, are they saying ja vol? german for yes sir? i have always been trying to figure that out.

  • @vydholznyzyknutsya no they sayin hammer

  • So...fucking...awesome...

  • It reminds me of Amurika.

    To follooowww the wooorms.

  • to clear all this mess up: theyre not Nazis. They are the Worms, no one else. The main character, Floyd Pinkerton (often called Pink), has had a lot of trauma in his life, starting with the death of his father, and recedes from reality and society to escape from it (forming a "wall" between him and the world). The Worms are a personification of the "worms" eating into his brain, driving him insane, all the problems he's had over the years. "follow the worms" means giving in to his dark thoughts.

  • @ValekHalfHeart It's called a historical allusion. This cd and the movie were heavily influenced by WW2. That is obvious throughout the movie.

  • The movie is about pink and how hes slowly becoming insane. Not emo shit.

  • this looks like some freak show emo shit

  • @osiris3yhn Fuck you.

  • @theMindRobber1 it does. i dont get it

  • @osiris3yhn That because I KNOW exactly what this is trying to show. This is Pink's (the main character's) battle after he search to find whatever's causing him pain in his life. This song is showing that he believes his pain might be caused my everyone; or the people mentioned in this song. By the end when he yells stop is because his father died in world war two from the Nazis, and now he believes (in his mind) he is becoming one himself. You get it now?

  • @theMindRobber1 not quite. the main character has pain in his life and he believes it is caused by everybody or the nazis, in addition he believes he is turning into a nazi himself because his father was killed by nazis? is this correct

  • @osiris3yhn The main character has pain in his life and he believes it is caused by everybody but it is not necessarily that it is caused by the Nazis. Because he is so angry, he believes that a way out of his pain would be to end others' lives- like the Nazis did to certain groups of people. For this, he realized that he was becoming sillier to the Nazis in their intent.

  • @theMindRobber1 hahaha kinda petty. how the hell is everybody causing him pain

  • @osiris3yhn It's a disturbing movie. In fact Stephen Spielberg coined the phrase to discribe this movie: "What the fuck?". it's super surreal and disturbing. it gives you that side of schizophrenia. Listen to Mother, Another Brick in the Wall, Comfortably Numb - basically any song from The Wall. They all describe what happens to Pink.

  • @GamerzPro1231 This is a great movie.

  • Respond to this video... I think this video is dangerous and should be destroyed or else kept in one of those deep dungeons where it's hard to find, or you have to fight some pretty wicked level bosses to get to it. Maybe down on level 47. Some of the monsters on level 47 are tough, so you could keep it there.

  • Alright now Stttttoooopppppp!!! Hammer time

  • @JaxonianFoxx890 that's really really a cool story bro(: makes me wanna go hammer my roof to this song and see what happens! :D

  • I want this album so bad. I already have Dark Side of The Moon but don't have The Wall!!! I'm going to save up to buy it, I think. I saw it at Target and Kmart yesterday. It's $22. I think I can afford that.... :D

  • @familygal928 Like I tell everyone who wants to get the album, get the movie instead. Its a great movie with the added bonus that a lot of the songs are extended in the movie.

  • This song is so awesome that its almost depressing, I am never going to do anything this awesome ever.

  • To bad the fringe psychos are in charge now here in America, we did not heed the Floyds' warning. What is the tea party logo anyway?

  • Would you like to see, Britannia rule again? My friend.

  • this album just turned 32, Happy Birthday to the Wall

  • I love the Hammer March!!! : ) classic 1980

  • I think most people misunderstand this song/video, when pink says worms he's talking about all that people who just follow the system (the queen on England, capitalism in USA) and don't do anything to change the things that are wrong, like imperialism /would you like to see britania rule again? Nationalism/patriotism would you like to see our colored cousins back home? All you have to do is follow the worms. Every person who realize that becomes a hammer that fights to destroy that WALL/system.

  • @dread0584 No the hammers are a very bad thing, where do you get the impression that they are trying to tear down the Wall? They are yet another brick in Pinks wall, his personal rock bottom where he embraces the very thing that his father died fighting and the hammer motif throughout the movie is designed to symbolise oppression and chaos.

  • (this song was playing at the time)

  • ok so i was telling my brother a little white lie about this song and i said hey geckoboy100 i thought i put your hammers in the midle of the floor (ok im like a expert string puppet dude) but it looks like they dont want to stay i said and he was like what do you mean and i told him to go look as he was running to the living room i ran upstairs and i was using puppetry to make his hammers march in circles

it was funny when he passed out :P

  • What was the movie called?

  • @jordanspringer8 Pink Floyd-- The Wall, Great fucking album and movie.

  • @SporeFan01234 thanks

  • Well umm...

Yeah, this is utterly horrifying, I hope I'm not the only one who thinks as such...

  • if i saw marching hammers i would join them! Who cares why they're marching, they're MARCHING HAMMERS!

  • this part of the movie used to freak me out as a kid

  • I understand

  • Great taste in music brought me here.

  • If I saw the hammers walking down my street I would freek out!

  • Would, you like to see Britannia rule again! My Friend!

  • one of my favorites, let brittania rule again

  • Pink floyd makes quite alot of Nazi refrences, portraying them as a bad thing. Which they are.

Atleast England is lucky that they got rid of there Nazi Menace=/

The united states still have Nazi activiaste running their mouths>.<

  • @ScaryMonsterClub England has a larger nationalist sentiment that is critical of the current British government for letting the country become highly populated with muslim immigrants who contribute to a high proportion of crime. As do many European countries. The statistics in Scandinavian countries are quite appalling, and it's even more appalling that the governments cover up these statistics. Then again most journalism is all propaganda, but saying it's a USA thing is crazy.

  • @Kberiotwhn But none such terrifying monsters as you and your lot, eh?

  • @JLThompson999 I would say the American Establishment I.E. government, and world banking is scarier than any fringe extremist groups that exist within or outside the US.

  • Justin Beiber, you better run, the hammers are coming for you....

  • thumbs up if you played with your dads hammers after this :P

  • STOPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP XD

  • remix of NA**

  • ikr and i know most of pink floyds songs by heart

  • gotta love the movie :)

  • The Hammers fascinate me.

  • Watch canada become those hammers, and the terrorists are just a diversion for Canadas global domination...

  • it is lets play war ninja dumb ass

  • i wonder how this video would be on acid

  • @supersonicultraforce

horribly terrifying and a complete waste of time. If your on acid the last thing your going to want to do is watch a movie. You would want to just listen to the album if anything, and this is probably a horrible thing to listen to on acid.

  • c'mon pal

  • early bird gets the enemy no matter how gruesome

    /watch?v=4sVShT6nVTA&feature=related

  • 0:03 to 0:07 Lets Play Minecraft!

  • Forget death metal...this is the most menacing riff in history.

  • @TeleMA50c Fuck yeah.

  • @TeleMA50c This is scarier too because it's more believable than a creature who lives to break backs or brain eating zombies. This HAS happened before, and the way celebrities are held up in this world, this VERY WELL could happen! It's quite horrifying.

  • I think this movie is why I hate people with shaved heads.... It's just such an ugly haircut... Yes... I have hair as long as David Gilmour..

  • love this song im 11. im glad my da got me in to them

  • STOPPPPPP

  • quit mumbling jibberish in that horn and give it to someone who can talk

  • I'm going to hang out with this girl I've been talking to for the first time in about 15 minutes, nothing like some Pink Floyd to get pumped and boost my confidence :D.

  • My dad once told me a funny story about this song.

He had just bought "The Wall" and was listening to it while he started working on the roof, hammering nails into the shingles. When this song came on, he was taking a water break. when he went to reach for his hammers however, they were gone.

He thought someone stole them until he saw them marching away to the beat of this song.

And i believe every word of it to this very day.

  • @JaxonianFoxx890

    that's awesome

  • @JaxonianFoxx890 Acid is a WONDERFUL drug :D

  • no offense but -i dont give a damn about who or what SOCIETY fears & respects.I've actually spent the better part of my life fighting societies rules & expectations. I was a huge rebel w/o a cause, never conforming & always contradicory. At 43, i've managed 2 hold onto enough of that rebel 2 make me real & 2 remember why @ 17 yrs old my friends & i made this movie our "saturday nite thing", trippin balls" like we used to say. we must've seen this movie @ least 30 times thatyr.

  • they need to remake this movie with future animation technology

  • You know, until i saw the movie i was really confused about where the image of goose-stepping hammers came from.

  • do they have a movie?

  • @runningwithsizzers yeah its called pink floyd-the wall

  • I've Got to get a hammer like that!

  • Watching this...Just feels right.

  • I get the chills listening to this song. (chills= Man I FEEL GOOD AND I WANNA PUNCH SOMEONE IN THE FACE!)

  • Hey remember when Pink Floyd sucked? Yeah, me neither.

  • This reminds me of My Chemical Romance's 'Black Parade'. Or maybe the other way around (I did see 'The Wall' before My Chemical Romance came on the scene, so yeah). Only the black motif, of course, and the fact that it's a parade. MCR's ideology is very much anti-collectivist and anti-authoritarian.

  • Even though Pink Floyd are leftists, this imagery could be interpreted from a Randian perspective. The horrors of collectivism. Always collectivism. Notice how the fascists fight the police. The Iron Guard, a Romanian fascist movement in 1930s (which was considered too radical even by Nazi standards), was known for getting into guerrilla style street battles with police. There was also a Nazi guerrilla force known as Werwolf.

  • @IggyHazard nobody gives a shit

  • @osiris3yhn What you mean is "you" don't give a shit. Others might appreciate the historical significance of the imagery, especially if they've experienced the horrors of totalitarianism first-hand.

  • @IggyHazard Fascism favors corporatism and the promotion of the ubermensch ideal, which has parallels with objectivism as well.

  • @Zenthik Fascism distorts the ubermensch ideal into something anti-ubermensch: racial collectivism. Every politico-philosophical faction has its own ideal of the "Overman" or the "New Man." This was as true for Stalin and Hitler as is was for Rand and Marx. The difference is in the definition. Is the Ubermensch a liberator or an oppressor? Is the Ubermensch a symbol of self-liberation or conformity and collectivism?

Mussolini's "corporatism" meant, in the Latin sense, "the organic state."

  • @Zenthik "Corporatism," in the sense that Mussolini meant, didn't mean "corporate rule." It meant that all aspects of life were incorporated into the state so that the state became an "organic" being unto itself (in Mussolini's fantasy land at least). This is an anti-ubermensh ideology because it emphasizes an illusion of strength based on herd mentality which is actually indicative of individual weakness. Only the weak seek strength in numbers. Collectivism is for pansies.

  • Roger Waters, you were a real jerk to your bandmates in the final years, but you were a musical genius, too.

  • @PavilionImages

Symbolism, do you know how it works?

  • 93 people hate brittiena

  • i love it when the show must go on tune reprise as a diffrent song it puts like a smile to my face

  • @PavilionImages He becomes a neo-nazi, punishing those that are different. He becomes overwhelmed and has a trial in his head, ultimately deciding that he desreves to be punished, and in one fell swoop, his wall comes down. he comes to terms with his life, and realizes what has happened to him, and decides to be a better person. Pink Floyd: The Wall

  • @PavilionImages A mans father dies at war when he is only a baby. his mother becomes overprotective out of fear of losing him. as he grows up, a metaphorical wall is built around him, protecting him from the harm of the world. he falls in love with a woman and marries her, but she cheats on him, adding yet another brick in the wall. he soon has his wall completed. he then realizes his mistake, and wants to escape the wall. he tries to call vera, his wife, but she does not answer the phone.

  • @Slowmojtn

Vera is not his wife's name. The song refers to Vera Lynn, who sung "We'll meet again", a happy hopeful tune that ironically these days is almost solely associated with the final scene in Doctor Strangelove ..

  • @cj1212121 well this is a surprise to me. i guess his wife is without a name.

  • This was one fucking weird movie. Good song though.

  • 93 dislikes?!?!? seriously!? if u disliked this, u need to move up out ur moms basement, quit feeling lonely while listening to some rap-crap lose a good 300 pounds. and no! u cant play black ops and call it finger excersize.
