sansAmp, Boss, Digitech, and Bassbone are ALL good choices to start out with bass distortion effects. the effect for the solo is more of a FUZZ than a distortion tho. There's lot's of bass fuzzes out there too... but if you want a GOOD one that doesn't make your bass sound like a guitar, it'll cost you around $200. i use an Aguilar Agro PreAmp and i can get ALL these tones with one tool... but you pay for it.

This song isn't too bad. BUT, you HAVE to play it with a pick to get Tetsu's FEEL. Finger-style is good to know, but PICKING can get cool tones too - like this song, or "Black Dog" for example. Start out just playing the ROOT notes with the backing track. then start to add in the FILLS. most important thing is FEEL. the solo is in A PENTATONIC. the song is basically in KEY OF A. hope this helps .^_^. overall a great song, one of L'arc's better ones (i still like glay better tho :P).

Well...basically that you can the same notes on different strings and frets...usually Guitar Pro Tabs come with the notes really separate or in almost impossible positions. Because they are done with a MIDI file and thus the program only puts the notes as close as it can. It ain't always the best.
