well, mayna's aren't invented, they are natures creatures, yes it was made by god but this isn't powered by a motor, in other words, this was god's creation, but not invention, invention is more like a machine, while creation is more... well, anything. No offence, please nobody be mad at my comment. Have a nice day
I once met a myna who was trained whne irritated to say: "fuck off" if you tried to interract with it after that it would reply: "I said... fuuuuck ooooff"
Yes Indian Mynahs are a pest in Australia, but this bird clearly isn't in Australia, and it isn't a common Indian Mynah, but who is to say it still isn't a Mynah common to India?
I'm from Assam in India. Assam is one of Hill Myna's native places, and hence it's found in abundance here. It's unbelievably cheap here, although it's illegal to capture them for the pet trade. The guy below me talks of 700 pounds, in our place one can get it for 9 to 13 pounds. The Hill Myna available here in Assam are called Greater Indian Hill Myna, and that's probably the one in the video as well.
Better a few days of freedom than a lifetime in prison. Set this bird free! Why do humans feel compelled to cage and torture the creatures they admire? This is insanity - wake up world - birds have wings to fly! I wish the people who put this bird in a cage would get locked up for life too.
dolphinak, your a idiot. It is a BIRD. Not a human. The BIRD is kept in a clean cage with unlimited amounts of food and water. There is nothing wrong with having a bird as a pet if one does so carefully.
Those of you who feel badly for this bird, consider the fact that he has likely never known anything else. He certainly would not know what to do if he were let out to "fly away". In fact to turn this bird loose would be cruel, and he wouldn't survive long. But he'd make a great pet!
Yes, I agree, these birds are one of God's great inventions!
Oh no :-( look at that nasty filthy crap all over his his little hut, and inside it. poor bird, all alone, not a toy in sight, and everybody walks away from him. breaks my heart seeing birds entrapped. Please join a rescue sight and see the truth behimd this captive birds.

That is not an indian mynah.
Indian mynahs are ugly mongrels that are invasive in Australia.

Cute. But I don't think that is an Indian Mynah bird, since, those type of Mynah birds are chocolate brown with a black head.

The bird is brilliant, beautiful. If you empathise with the bird, how pleased wud you be perfoming in a little cage for the rest of your life.
Set him free..He isnt a toy.Treat all the creatures with kindness and God will treat you kindly.
