I don't think she is hurting the baby by keeping her. The baby looks healthy and well taken care of.

@Truthrevealed21 It is partially the parents fault too since they allowed their kids to have enough time alone together to have sex and didn't teach her about the difference between lust and love because obviously he didn't love her at all or he would be there for her. The majority of parents would have taken her to get an abortion. Regardless of your feelings about it, a 13 year old is not only way too young to deal with being a mother, but way too young to deal with the complexities of being pregnant, in my opinion. Then I heard the southern, hayseed southern accents and was like "oh that explains why they made her give birth to it." The mom's parents obviously aren't good parents if their 14 year old is having unsafe sex or sex at all. Stop Breeding folks!

Here is an example, lets say you have two children the same age, one is yours, and the other adopted. You look down at your child's sweet little face and see yourself and the person you love mixed in and get fuzzy feelings. You look down at the other child's face and just see someone else's unwanted deed...

Yes, the boy is 50% responsible, he can carry a condom, but at the end of the day the girl carries the burden. The girl becomes a woman and her life in a lot of cases takes a back seat. She is faced with putting her plans on hold, while his life does not change much if he does not want to step up to the plate.
