i didn't grow up in the era of this type of rock music. Well i did see KISS in 1993 but on TV they did a new years eve concert. I was 4 or so, so i didn't understand the music then. Now i look back at these type of movies and the music of KISS, Metallica, Rolling stones, Ozzy Osbourne, I don't even know the names of most of the bands but those looked so cool. I hate the current rap and r&b era so black, so stupid. Rock and Roll is the era i wish i grew up listening to.

You do know this movie is a true story right? It's actually about judas priest, but they had some issues so they couldn't use the band name or any of the real names so they changed everything. It's about when rob halford left the band (in the movie it's that Bobby guy mark wahlberg replaces) and tim Owens replaced him. So yeah technically steel dragon is supposed to be judas priest and chris Cole is supposed to be tim owens. Just look it up :D

@333guardian: Do you really not know who that is? The guy that comes out of the audience is Myles Kennedy. He is the one singing too. He's been around for a long time.... sang with the band The Mayfield Four and then joined the boys from Creed, minus Scott Stapp, to form Alter Bridge and has 3 sick albums with them. He also did some touring with Slash and is currently working on a side/solo project. If you didn't know, now you do! He's also a sick guitarist! Rock on Myles!!! \m/
