Mmmm dysfunctional. ;) At first the decision to use freeze frames didn't work for me, I found it distracting as I thought it was either a bad video encode and then I thought it was a strobe for no reason. Especially in the first scene where I couldn't work out where the slap noise came from.
It's possibly because the new frames come up too regularly until the wallet on the table part where it starts to become more randomly timed and starts to make sense...

Everything else worked for me, except perhaps some of the important dialogue was obscured by the soundtrack.
