you lose all sense of credibility because you make extreme comments with no basis at all. while it can get a little crazy, bloomington is still a great town
I was just down there yesterday at the Scholar's Inn Bakehouse. Bloomington is such a dope college town. Nice people, great shops and the most inviting atmosphere I've ever encountered. I feel so lucky to be going to school there.
@amadeus5889 Did you notice the Lauren Spierer missing posters everywhere? How about the weekly stabbing and shooting deaths? 1,000 meth busts this year? Sniper shootings, kid stabbings, 26 counts of child porn to Daniel Bostick. I hope you're joking.
@endthedrugwarvision No, I'm not. I'm from Los Angeles, and compared to there Bloomington is safe and secure. Incidents of crime are few and far between. And about Lauren Spierer: I have never seen a community come together over a missing person quite like they have over Lauren. Candlelight vigils, weekly searches, flyer handouts...out of the heartbreak came a sense of unity and love. I repeat: Bloomington is a great college town. So fuck you and don't you ever insult my college town again.
@amadeus5889 Well, you are incorrect completely. You seem like you have been propagandized by some 'Brave New World' 'conditioning' from old IU. A+ on that. I explained to the town of Bloomington exactly how Lauren Spierer would die 1,000,000 times for 7 years before it happened. The community is now more coked out, selfish, shallow, and stupid like yourself. Insult 'YOUR COLLEGE TOWN'? Listen you 'class based' bourgoious prick, if I find you I'll light you on fire myself.
@supersaleh1000 Rflmao! NOOOOOO!!!!! The police run cocaine, heroin, alcohol and pills. People are dying here in terrible ways such as shootings, stabbings, o.d., and bodies are being concealed with police help, due to the police waging a war on drugs that makes it so all the women here are either strung out on stupid, or stupid on drugs. Seriously. There is no greater evil in the history of human kind other than bloomington, besides every other place on planet Earth. The Drug War is evil.
@MrLuckyyellowsocks Breaking Away is the name of the film. It came out sometime in the 1970's. Dennis Quaid and Daniel Stern were among some of the actors who starred in it.
B-town is the bomb I have lived here all 11 years of my life it's fun to live in a college town but it's weird cause in the summer it seems so barren!! Go Hoosiers!
bloomington may be small but its a pretty nice town c: if you ever want breakfast go to we willys because.. that is just the best place you will ever eat there for breakfast in bloomington c:
WHAT!!!! The Library Nazi's(as I so affectionately refer to them as)threatened to kick me out of the library for taking pictures inside! I was taking them so my mother in law in Texas could see how awesome our Library is!.. ...At any rate, you did a very nice job on this video! :)
I came to B-town four years ago. I doubt I'll ever move unless I get the chance to live in Canada. It's the best way to "leave Indiana" without actually leaving the state.
@konasean you'll probably find the people downtown, on campus, or on the west side. much of our city is a suburb with it's own unique culture. btw, there's a big difference from millions of people on Long Island than there are 120,000 people(includes students). :D come visit if you haven't already.
@konasean I visit that library often and judging by the angle of the sun coming in through the windows I'm guessing she shot this video at 10 or 11 a.m., which would explain why there aren't many people. Most of those places in the video are crowded in the afternoon.
