There have never been any statistics that show which works better, open or concealed carry. Each has the advantage and disadvantage. I live in Texas also, and I wish we had the choice to carry either way so each person could choose what works best for them.
I prefer concealed carry. I know exactly where my weapon is and can bring it into play at a moments notice. I do not want anyone to know that I am packing. It is not their business. It is there if and when I need it. And it is not a small caliber either.

I carry a concealed .45 and I guarantee that I can have it out just as quickly as one carried out in the open. It's a matter of technique, having the right holster and practicing. It does depend on where you live. I checked laws in other states and actually found laws to be quite a bit more relaxed. Still don't do it in CA or NY, or anywhere urban in Canada, because their gun laws are very tight. Sorry I was raised amidst CA laws, so I got a bit biased over the years. I have done research, and I will be man enough to say I made a mistake. Sorry I doubted you.

Other wise I carry my CZ 97b On the hip and I have no problems with at all.
Concealed Carry is a huge tactical advantage. Strapping on a hand cannon like that is fine if you want to, but I have 40 rounds of .40 caliber ready to go at all times. I can get my concealed Glock 23 out as fast or faster than an open carried revolver of that type. And guess what? Noone is going to be going for my gun from behind because *they won't know I have it*. The more criminals get the idea that people in their area conceal, the more they will leave that area.
Mr., crackheads don't care if you have a double bbl AA gun like mad max...until you shoot him...and he STILL doesn't care. Besides..no one wants to lug such heavy iron around when they don't use it most of the time just like no one wants to lug around a brick phone anymore. Lighter is better. I do give you credit for eluding to that further in the video. That was my only complaint besides a S&W .500 isn't a practical weapon for most shooters just as a .32 isn't effective. A .45 is practical for the majority, but a .357 or .40 will suffice. Remember the .45 was developed to stop drug enraged lunitics.

I really prefer concealed carry. Say you're in a convenience store when someone decides to rob it. He huddles all the customers into a corner, then proceeds to wave the gun at the cashier and demand money. I can act like a scared civilian, then when his attention is elsewhere I can draw and fire. If you open carry, and the guy comes in guns waving, he's going to see you have a gun, you're going to see he has a gun, he's going to get scared and shoot you, then probably turn around and run out.

What a retard. I carry a Glock 29 10mm EASILY CONCEALED that holds 11 VERY NASTY rounds (plus another 10 in my spare mag). That IS a real gun. It will stop a crackhead better than anything out there, besides maybe your .500S&W. I agree a .32ACP is a sissy gun, and about worthless, so why do you have one? Why on Earth would you carry a 7" .500 S&W? I appreciate you fighting for our rights, but CARRYING a .500S&W? You don't need a polar bear gun for a human.

I carry a concealed .45 and I guarantee that I can have it out just as quickly as one carried out in the open. It's a matter of technique, having the right holster and practicing. Carrying open is something that draws attention, makes you a target for someone to grab your firearm, and leads to people who fear firearms to get those little stickers on the doors that say "NO FIREARMS on these premises" P.S, that fool will take that .500 S&W and kill people downrange and outside the building.

Oh ya great way to get yourself arrested and/or shot. Concealed Carry permits are given to responsible people who do it for self defense. It is ILLEGAL for a civilian to brandish a firearm in public. And I love how this dumbass checks his revolver halfway through his usage to make sure it is empty. And yes a .32 WILL KILL A PERSON. If you cant aim at a person's chest or head from a pistol range (inside 50 yards), then you shouldn't have a gun.

ALWAYS check your gun laws BEFORE you buy a gun. And yes, under federal law carrying a firearm in hand without a case is considered brandishing, and illegal. However, Some states allow you to "open carry" (in a locking holster that is visible to the public).
Whether your life was in enough danger that you had no other option than lethal force is up to the courts. If you kill someone, you had better hope that your shooting is justified. You are accountable for that bullet always.

It does depend on where you live. I checked laws in other states and actually found laws to be quite a bit more relaxed. Still don't do it in CA or NY, or anywhere urban in Canada, because their gun laws are very tight. Sorry I was raised amidst CA laws, so I got a bit biased over the years. I have done research, and I will be man enough to say I made a mistake. Sorry I doubted you.

For me though, the last thing I want is somebody knowing that I have a firearm on me. Concealed Carry is a huge tactical advantage. Strapping on a hand cannon like that is fine if you want to, but I have 40 rounds of .40 caliber ready to go at all times. I can get my concealed Glock 23 out as fast or faster than an open carried revolver of that type. And guess what? Noone is going to be going for my gun from behind because *they won't know I have it*. The more criminals get the idea that people in their area conceal, the more they will leave that area.

Our founders did not grant our rights. God granted out rights. the founders simply enumerated them and put restrictions on government interfering with out free exercise of them. I do give you credit for eluding to that further in the video. That was my only complaint besides a S&W .500 isn't a practical weapon for most shooters just as a .32 isn't effective. A .45 is practical for the majority, but a .357 or .40 will suffice. Remember the .45 was developed to stop drug enraged lunitics.

infringe(verb): to encroach, to trespass, to restrict, to regulate, etc.
Therefore when the the founders said "...the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." they were saying that no government, federal or state, was allowed to make any law restricting citizen's right to carry arms.

I really prefer concealed carry. Say you're in a convenience store when someone decides to rob it. He huddles all the customers into a corner, then proceeds to wave the gun at the cashier and demand money. I can act like a scared civilian, then when his attention is elsewhere I can draw and fire. If you open carry, and the guy comes in guns waving, he's going to see you have a gun, you're going to see he has a gun, he's going to get scared and shoot you, then probably turn around and run out.
