@jadesofsteal the judge was putting the defendant down by her choices of jobs. Why didn't the judge offer the defendant an Administrative Assistance job or ask for her resume? I admire the judge and is aware of the good things she has done for people but in this case the judge was wrong.

No, I don't think the judge was out of line. That was kind of a rude question, but I can see she wanted to see how the defendant would react. The defendant had a bad reputation for being manipulative and apparently bad-tempered and the judge wanted to egg her on to see if she would react that way, which she did!

This helped the judge's ruling and helped the plantiff to win! Yay! :D

she wasn't out of line. the defendant could have calmly said no thank you or something to that effect and moved on with the case. Sometimes biting your tongue can be a good thing.
