  • I'd like to see one of these make it's way into the Fast Draw Circuit. It looks like it'd be fast out of a holster with a 4 1/2" barrel. Anyone seen one shot in SASS?

  • Very elegant and reliable pistols that no one admitted to having. most lawmen and outlaws alike had backups, many of them carried MerwinHulbert revolvers. and the "skull crusher" grip was feared. thanks for sharing. It is my understanding that this pistol is now being produced again, however, waiting periods deter my acquisition.

  • Really good model.

  • what a beast

  • WORST GUN EVER

imagine this: you are a soilder, you are behind a rock, your primary is out of ammo, no other guns around, bullets are flying past your ears

you shoot all the ammo in the revolver, you start to reload

a guy comes around the corner, the barrel to your head

IF YOU HAD A FASTER RELOAD YOU WOULDVE SAW THE GUY AND BLEW HIS BRAINS OUT, instead, you have a barrel to your head

like hell anyone wants to use that gun after reading this

  • @EPICBANDITO Please never buy a firearm until you have taken some classes. This gun does NOT reload this way, he was just changing barrels.

Plus, if you have to reload in a self-defence situation, you're already fucked anyway.

  • @EPICBANDITO The MH's were actually the fastest reloadable in the West, even surpassing Smith's top break Number 3 that the some of the James Boys' favored. When the barrel and cylinder come forward the fired shells are automatically ejected. Any live rounds still in the cylinder stay in the cylinder because the live round is too long to clear the space between the back of the cylinder and the recoil shield. So...I'd hate to have been stuck with a Colt SAA that loads one round at a time.Just FYI

  • wtf

  • must be a pain in the ass to reload

  • @heretic1915 Not really. You load it the same way you load a Colt Peacemaker, through a loading gate on the right side. The animation only shows how to switch out barrels, which is a remarkably fast process compared to most other revolvers and pistols out there even today.

  • whoa neat

  • Cool animation, could you also make an animation on the Merwin Hulbert's cartridge ejection.

  • i want it

  • nice work

do you have edrawings oor solidwork can you send me that drawing?
