San Diego is better because it is not as busy, nor is it as polluted as Los Angeles. San Diego has a small, convenient, and easy to navigate international airport. San Diego Police, Fire, and EMS does not get paid a lot, but they are still an excellent, very professional fire/police/EMS department. You can get anywhere in San Diego within 15 minutes. We have 26 miles of Beach, with some of the most professional Lifeguards in the state. San Diego is also safer than LA, (Crime-rate wise).

My family came to San Francisco after discharge from the Civil War, then moved to San Diego in 1867 (Founders) then Los Angeles (Movers and Shakers). I was born and raised in L.A. and then I moved back to San Diego County. I love L.A. but San Diego is a lot nicer. Oceanside, California's Best Kept Secret, is quiet, beach and harbor close, super climate 6 miles in and 40 miles from TJ. I Love it best of all US cities. It is like the Garden of Eden.

I lived inHidden Hills, the San Fernando Valley and married a Valley Girl, but fighting the traffic in and out of L.A. as I worked at 1936 Wishire Blvd, was a Zoo. I was born at the Good Samaritan Hospital, right down town. Lived all over the area and had a cabin in LA and beach home in Newport, but beter in San Diego County. Lots of energy in LA but mellow here in North County San Diego..Easy Living!
