Why are people in the arena during rehearsal?

@023scrubs apparently, it is a dress rehearsal for the performers and for the film-crew. The tickets for dress rehearsals are sold every year in order to fill the hall with people - this way a concert is shot in order to switch it on in the air in case of broadcast stops
