Bloody hell, that was one helluva storm that passed over us. A way away, you could see that a house roof had caught fire, smoke billowing from the top.
Not long before this, there was a thunderstorm in my area. It knocked out trees on both sides of our house, one of them landing on the roof, the other, on our driveway.
I love thunderstorms. If I ever get around to buying a video camera I will definitely film the summer storms that pass over here in Alabama, we get some pretty crazy stuff.
Yeah, it was nuts in Fort Saskatchewan. A couple buddies and I were in the Galaxy theater in Sherwood Park and got kicked out once the power dropped, so we had to drive back to Fort Saskatchewan in the middle of it. We were literally driving around entire trees.
