She has very beautiful arches. But she seems overly relaxed, although she was graceful. But hey, we are probably being too hard, she got picked for the part and therefor must be a beautiful dancer. Most of the people thet have posted negative comments could not get up on stage and do what she is doing.

I'd like to clarify that my point is not that one ballerina is better than other because of her weight, which is basically what "kochamnlesniki" said. I just happen to like Lopatkina in Swan Lake much more than Letestu and Zakharova. I don't know or care who's the thinner out of the three.

With Zakharova and Lopatkina I see Elephant Lake, not Swan Lake - who taught them to make such heavy and effortful jumps? Letestu is nice and plain, just as a swan should be. But for me the best dancer is Nina Ananiashvili.

@bananafish86 Svetlana ain't fat at all, neither Lopatkina. Svetlana is one of the most effortless dancers I've ever seen, and her jumps always seem high enough to me. With Lopatkina I guess we could say she's not such a good jumper, but definitely not because she's fat, she's one of the most thinner dancers I know, she's just tall. Besides, under your standard, Svetlana always jumps higher than Nina, and seems a much better and cleaner black swan to me.

@reginaholic I've never been a big fan of Marianela, but I recognize she's amazing. To me, the greatest black swan is Zakharova's, and the greatest withe one is Lucía Lacarra's.

@kochamnalesniki Too fat? Ha ha! Can't you tell that the dimensions of the video have been squished vertically making her appear wider? It's similar to when something's on TV and the picture gets squished and distorted as sports scores or announcements are posted across the bottom of the screen. Pause at 0:20 and you can see that the distortion also makes her arms look too long when they are held horizontally. I love Zakharova as Odette too, but to call Letestu "fat" is ridiculous.
