  • What is the saying? As thick as a plank lol!

  • That is an antenna of a remote control car.

  • I used to drive short distances with oars and fishing rods stuck out of the sunroof, but they only stuck up a foot or so, this is insane

  • Definitely two second gap there and the music is cool. or should i say kewl...

  • Lookout for powerlines above!!

This is not a smart thing to do with a plank and a Smart Car.

  • I'm confused!? Which one is the bigger plank, The driver, or the thing poking out the top?

  • Is that legal there? I don't think it's legal in any country...

  • The smart is a decent, practical, and economical car for most people's needs.

But if a smart were my only car, I'd have been in that bike lane with the plank under my arm like a surfboard.

  • that smart's aerodynamics are very good there

  • Would you drive a Smart, whether it has a 12 foot plank sticking out of it or not? If you answer is yes, you should be wearing a straight jacket. ;-)

  • hey flip it upside down and you've got a lolly pop

  • Come on low bridge. LOL

  • id rather look stupid for a few minutes than pay for someone else to take 1 piece of wood to my house

  • women behind the wheel is like a monkey with a granade

  • LOL, that's brilliantly stupid. Nicely caught on camera!

  • Yep It still looks gay with a stick hanging out of it !! LOL! !!!

  • lol

  • GET THIS. I'm from St. John's, Newfoundland and I saw a SMART CAR with an 8 x 12 window roped to the back ass of it!!!

Sweet jebas, the window was 3x bigger than the SMART CAR!!! ROFL!

  • Tricky. Whats the name of the song playing? BestRegards from Denmark

  • what a tard!

and start driving on the right side of the road, silly Europeans :P

  • @krankiev Europeans do drive on the right side of the road, genius.

  • Not all of them.. just watch some European driving videos sometime...

Thanks for the compliment though, I mean I know I'm pretty average in the intelligence area, but I guess someone like you could consider me a genius.

  • Trust me; you're not. The continent of Europe drives on the right side of the road. Only the UK and Ireland drive on the left. I don't need videos to tell me; I'm from Europe. I also imported my car from Europe.

That's like saying that the US drives on the left, because Samoa does. Don't embarrass yourself!

  • FYI England and Ireland are considered part of Europe. I didn't say all Europeans did. it was a freaking joke anyway, you need to friggin relax dude..

never once did I say all of Eurpoe drives on the left side.

  • Again, I am from Europe; you don't need to educate me on my own geography. When one says "Europe" it refers to the Continent. If you mean Britain and Ireland then that's what you say.

And just out of interest, do you have something against the Welsh and Scots that you exclude them from Europe? Or did they float away while I was in the can?

  • pf126p, do you have a hard time understanding English?

I said Europeans, referring to some (NOT ALL) people who are from Europe. Last I checked, England and Ireland were countries in Europe, therefore they are from Europe, and it is not wrong for me to call them European.

  • (continued)

Stop making shit up, putting words in my mouth, and being such a dickhead over dumb technicalities which I wasn't even wrong on!

I'm not embarrassing myself when nothing that I said was wrong. It's all the way you're interpreting it, which is not how I meant it at all.

Also, who the FUCK said anything about the Welsh and Scots...?

  • I can read your comments and I think you're full of it, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. That said, don't argue with a European about Europe. Now listen up and you might learn something. Number 1: The UK of GB is not the same as England. It includes England AND Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Number 2: although the UK is geographically and politically part of Europe, the vernacular "Europe" is understood synonymous with "The Continent."

Just like "America" is understood to mean the US.

  • @pf126p

What in the hell don't you get about me saying that I never said all of Europe?! Are you a complete idiot or what? Just because I say European, that doesn't mean the whole continent. I didn't say "All of Europe drives on the left," rather I said that some European people drive on the left. If you can't get it through your thick skull that I NEVER ONCE said all of Europe, just shut the fuck up already.

Maybe you need some English lessons...

  • Just take the shame. Be a man.

  • I'm not going to "take shame" because some moron on YouTube can't understand me correctly.

  • (By the way, in answer to your suggestion to me of "watching some European driving videos sometime," I might suggest you look at my profile for just such videos. In the "Upload" section.)

  • smart cars are RWD

  • Since trucks easily exceeding the height of that plank negotiate those roads on a regular basis this person is not creating any hazard to themselves or others. The only thing wrong here is the plank does not have a red flag on it but that law only applies if the object extends a certain distance behind the vehicle. You are the one who is not so smart HorsleyLandy.

  • Haha, I wonder if they hit anything before they got to wherever they were going?

  • Ummm fail??

  • Idiot Car?

  • Probably provides a bit of downforce :)

  • I think their fwd. Downforce on a FWD car is pointless.

  • I now declare you, a male smart!

  • they dont even make cb antennas that long and the can flex

  • depends on the hight of the board, if lower than your average semi trailer, she shouldn't of had a problem.

  • i wonder how those things hold up to a semi... just wondering...

  • Probably not much better than anything else holds up to a semi.

  • Comment removed

  • Because Im sure that filming it while driving was incredibly safe...

  • Have you not read his reply above?

  • The Smart Car is not dangerous if 4WD owners look where there going. If more people drove smaller cars then it wouldnt be a problem!

  • your proving other people points....SMART CARS AR A DANGEROUS GOLF CARTS YOU CAN KILL YOUR SELF.

plus.....how will we get things done with out pickups? can do any work with a dumb golf cart now can we?

  • How do we get things done without pick-ups, you ask? I personally have an AWD station wagon with a roof rack and a 10-foot aluminum utility trailer. It's my detachable pick-up. And it's in fact more versatile because It's adapted to haul my Fiat city car as well. And because it weighs only 370 lbs, my city car can tow it as well!

  • but you cant really call it a kick ass tuck if it isn't a true 4x4 pickup with a kick ass everything (that and the fact that isn't a truck)

  • Maybe not, but I don't run a farm (at the moment) and I rarely leave the asphalt. So it offers me no advantage over what I have. On the contrary, my wagon handles infinitely better, goes faster, gets better mileage and does better in a crash. And AWD gets better traction than 4x4.

If you look at my videos I think you'll understand that what I have works better for the type of driving I do. It's the right tool for the job.

  • i dont have a farm. and the kick ass trucks can be used as off road only if you want. but everyone has different life's just like you and me.

  • if you search for Belgian Smart Test you will see that the smart can be used on a farm too :D

  • Yeah these arent dangerous. I have one its black with silver with balck rims.

  • add a sheet and ud have a smart sail car hehe

  • you are the most retarded thing I have ever seen

  • real mature!

  • You should do your research! They are actually quite safe..... which is why your comment was retarded.....

  • got wood ? :D

  • What's the big deal? If she knew the route didn't have any overpasses or whatever, I don't see the problem...

    smarts rule!

  • That's funny to see, but really stupid they actually did that.

  • who needs a pick-up truck? the smart works just fine. also, the music in your car is pretty bad.

  • Is that Bad Good or Bad Bad.

I do loose track of this young person speak, Init!!!

  • that would be bad bad.

  • @HorsleyLandy88 i would say bad bad cuz that muzic sucked

  • @HorsleyLandy88 bad as in sucks and by the way i have a add for cartoonize your self and was looking at that and just ignored you vid dammm wish i could come out of the bathroom to something like that but she is usely sleeping around that time so

  • Um, you're only driving about ONE second behind the car, when a TWO second gap is the agreed safety margin. Add a plank of wood out the top and you're nearly as much of a joker as the smart car driver... Don't slag me off, I'm right if you look in the highway code etc.

  • In a 30 mph area I had allowed ample stopping distance between me and the car infront.

Dont know how you measure 1 second, but days days must fly by with your poor time keeping skills!

  • Well I was saying "one thousand, two thousand" between the car in front passing a static object (e.g. a lamppost) and you arriving at the same object when following behind. Some parts you're closer and some parts you're further away, have a look. Anyway you were being fairly safe, I'm just more of a cyclist now so am strict on drivers... having been hit by a couple of bad ones.

  • @HorsleyLandy88 Aye that looked like 30 feet. ( old rule being 10ft for every 10mph)

  • @HorsleyLandy88 Not calling out either of you: but to find time gap between you and car infront, pic a focal point, and when the car infront of you passes it, count until you pass it.

  • Shouldnt of gave up their pick up so soon =P

  • your not to smart following her! if the plank flys out!

  • I was waiting for the low tree branch, so it would tip up backwards. That would have made a great video.

My van would have driven over the plank no problem.

    H-A

  • LMAO

  • Look Mr. Bean change his car with Smart xD

  • wouldnt ... "Stupid Driver in a Smart Car."

Be a better title for this video.

  • Yes it would be great

  • lol bit of a boob! :P

  • Change the radio station, ugh!

In the States, we call this "get 'er done!"

  • Not dangerous, just wierd.

You using your moble on the other hand, now that's dangerous, and is what's causing most accidents these days...

  • How funny thats what my wife said, fortunately I had two small children with me at the time and one of them was able to hold my phone

  • where abouts is this?, I'm positive i recognise it!

That smart car driver is a complete plank!...........

  • A246 going towards Guildford Surrey.

  • youre driving on the wrong side of the road...

    sorry had to say it

  • I wait for a low branch...

  • oh your god thats funny! :D

  • hihihiiiiiiiiiiii

  • I would say that filming a Smart car on your mobile whilst driving is pretty dangerous too!!

  • How funny thats what my wife said, fortunately I had two small children with me at the time and one of them was able to hold my phone.

  • I was trying to figure that singer too, so I looked it up: Scott Matthew

  • No so space now is it...

  • thats to high for his spoilers! hahaha is the artist of the song coldplay?

  • this song its not coldplay its "elusive from scott matthews"

  • what crap are you listening to? :s
