Trust me; you're not. The continent of Europe drives on the right side of the road. Only the UK and Ireland drive on the left. I don't need videos to tell me; I'm from Europe. I also imported my car from Europe.
That's like saying that the US drives on the left, because Samoa does. Don't embarrass yourself!
FYI England and Ireland are considered part of Europe. I didn't say all Europeans did. it was a freaking joke anyway, you need to friggin relax dude..
never once did I say all of Eurpoe drives on the left side.
Again, I am from Europe; you don't need to educate me on my own geography. When one says "Europe" it refers to the Continent. If you mean Britain and Ireland then that's what you say.
And just out of interest, do you have something against the Welsh and Scots that you exclude them from Europe? Or did they float away while I was in the can?
pf126p, do you have a hard time understanding English?
I said Europeans, referring to some (NOT ALL) people who are from Europe. Last I checked, England and Ireland were countries in Europe, therefore they are from Europe, and it is not wrong for me to call them European.
I can read your comments and I think you're full of it, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. That said, don't argue with a European about Europe. Now listen up and you might learn something. Number 1: The UK of GB is not the same as England. It includes England AND Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Number 2: although the UK is geographically and politically part of Europe, the vernacular "Europe" is understood synonymous with "The Continent."
Just like "America" is understood to mean the US.
What in the hell don't you get about me saying that I never said all of Europe?! Are you a complete idiot or what? Just because I say European, that doesn't mean the whole continent. I didn't say "All of Europe drives on the left," rather I said that some European people drive on the left. If you can't get it through your thick skull that I NEVER ONCE said all of Europe, just shut the fuck up already.
(By the way, in answer to your suggestion to me of "watching some European driving videos sometime," I might suggest you look at my profile for just such videos. In the "Upload" section.)
Since trucks easily exceeding the height of that plank negotiate those roads on a regular basis this person is not creating any hazard to themselves or others. The only thing wrong here is the plank does not have a red flag on it but that law only applies if the object extends a certain distance behind the vehicle. You are the one who is not so smart HorsleyLandy.
How do we get things done without pick-ups, you ask? I personally have an AWD station wagon with a roof rack and a 10-foot aluminum utility trailer. It's my detachable pick-up. And it's in fact more versatile because It's adapted to haul my Fiat city car as well. And because it weighs only 370 lbs, my city car can tow it as well!
Maybe not, but I don't run a farm (at the moment) and I rarely leave the asphalt. So it offers me no advantage over what I have. On the contrary, my wagon handles infinitely better, goes faster, gets better mileage and does better in a crash. And AWD gets better traction than 4x4.
If you look at my videos I think you'll understand that what I have works better for the type of driving I do. It's the right tool for the job.
@HorsleyLandy88 bad as in sucks and by the way i have a add for cartoonize your self and was looking at that and just ignored you vid dammm wish i could come out of the bathroom to something like that but she is usely sleeping around that time so
Um, you're only driving about ONE second behind the car, when a TWO second gap is the agreed safety margin. Add a plank of wood out the top and you're nearly as much of a joker as the smart car driver... Don't slag me off, I'm right if you look in the highway code etc.
Well I was saying "one thousand, two thousand" between the car in front passing a static object (e.g. a lamppost) and you arriving at the same object when following behind. Some parts you're closer and some parts you're further away, have a look. Anyway you were being fairly safe, I'm just more of a cyclist now so am strict on drivers... having been hit by a couple of bad ones.
@HorsleyLandy88 Not calling out either of you: but to find time gap between you and car infront, pic a focal point, and when the car infront of you passes it, count until you pass it.
What is the saying? As thick as a plank lol!

The smart is a decent, practical, and economical car for most people's needs.
But if a smart were my only car, I'd have been in that bike lane with the plank under my arm like a surfboard.

Would you drive a Smart, whether it has a 12 foot plank sticking out of it or not? If you answer is yes, you should be wearing a straight jacket. ;-)

but you cant really call it a kick ass tuck if it isn't a true 4x4 pickup with a kick ass everything (that and the fact that isn't a truck)
