Me falling off and getting dragged

ouch i got dragged befor on a trail for like a whole 40 seconds i say at a gallop not fun .its scary when all you see if hoofs coming towards for face every second

I've been dragged before... very scary! I ended up in hospital for two months because of it.

got dragged before but i was leading a horse and when i let go i skidded on the pavement. its not fun. im sorry you had to get dragged this way when your caught

that was hilarious but thankfuly u werent hurt and yikes i prob wouldve been seriously hurt or off as soon as he spooked but i have handled the weirdest spooks before and some werent even spooks just antics to get to the other horses and they were bad and etc when i was younger and only a few small bucks but have been on like 15hh horse on shie etc

That horse should be trained to stop when its rider falls. That's too dangerous; to be dragged.

you looked gd.. dont listen to them about your heels... do you have the breakaway stirrups?? theyre the best i had a mare roll on top of me and if it werent for those things she would of dragged me wen she got up!!! you look gd!

One of the known rules of riding is heels down toes up. If you had done that you would have landed on your feet instead of being dragged

yeah, my heels were down but i had big winter riding boots and no break away stirrups, so after that i got some and i'm alot more careful about my heels down:P

Was your foot caught or did you not let go of the reins. That can be scary because when they know you're not letting go, they freak out!

my foot was caught in stirrup, i always let go of the riens when i fall, better having a loose horse than broken ribs or worse! because its not like i fall off alot.:P

I've been dragged before. Like 9 years ago on a western trained horse who neck-reined, which I found out cuz I was gonna get squished by some crazy jumper goin 100 mph, LoL. My mount smacked a wall and flew across the ring and I was in lala land so I fell off but I got stuck so she spooked and trotted away w/ me attatched. That's y I hate saftey stirrups, they r ugly and come off when u don't need it and don't when you do. ;p LoL.

saftey stirrups r useful sometimes. since i was wearing winter riding boots the stirrups were too small to get my foot out in time. :p so now on bigger stirrups in the winter. lol thanks for the comment!

oh man .. one time i got dragged really far... i was doing drill team and scooter freaked and so the dropped the flag but then he gave a huge buck cause the flag was dragging and i was trying to get it off so i went flying but i got caught in the flag... it took them like 10 mins to get to the ring stop him and get me off... it was sooooo scary :(

Hey, its not easy staying on a horse going even the slightest crazy. Look at my newest video, i cant even stay on a horse that took off with me, cantering! But that was 3 years ago. Still, a lot of people have accidents similiar to this. So please don't say a thing like that. xx
