@kara2lucy well the predictable part I can always defend for one reason: much like cliche's it can't be predictable unless you've seen it before enough to know it. take some Sherlock Holmes cases. it's stated (and even kinda the point of Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd century) that the reason some cases don't surprise him or why he knows who did it or how it was done so easily is because he's had many other cases like it. We adults can't hold that standard if we've been seeing hundreds of shows.

Dizzy lost all his fur during summer and had to use a box to cover his furrless body. Mary and the other skaters thought the 'box look was in' and started using boxes on purpose over their clothing. With Dizzy's fur growing back, he ditched the box and since he started the fashion, when he abandoned it the whole trend ended.
