@dwarf2 I know you wrote this 6 months ago, but I played this guitar in the music store and I think it was quieter than a regular acoustic. But it still played and sounded great.
My my, a guitar that seemed like a dream come true when checking out the looks and specs, that then made everything come more than true when testing it out, and that was (more or less) in my budget. Needless to say i ordered one (though i promised myself i wouldn't). Merci Godin, it's nice to see someone is paying attention to quality.
What a superb guitar! Glad to see that Godin strike again with a quality product, at a very affordable price. Gonna be great accoustic friend to my Lg Signature
Godin is the smartest guitar company. I've owned the acousticaster and a simon patrick wild cherry dreadnought. Both guitars have great chord definition and the jumbo fret size I like. Easy to play even if your completely foreign to them I find. The only other company that rivals Godin in price is Ibanez on "some" of their electrics. But Godin now with the arch Kingpin return is gonna start spanking the Gretsch 5120 in quality to price ratio. And its Canadian! dude
@jimsi Thank God, you made that comment. I just bought bought mine and thought, what the heck? This beautiful guitar is frickin' noisy. Every time I turned my guitar away from my amp, it would start making noise. I wonder if you've had that same problem?
yeah, i can face the amp and at certain directions its less noisey at the same time i can record it in electric mode and it records beautifuly and cuts through the mix so sweetly...but i hate the noise.....and i found that lights dont help by turning them off... it's just too noisey PERIOD
I would love a twelve string version. Make it possible, please?
