@mikerepmo hahaha I know. The truck is new to me. I've only had it for about 4 months now. Been building it up with some goodies, but I haven't gotten the opportunity to go off-roading yet. I want to do it, but I am real busy and don't know a good place to take it. So, for now, I just race around town with it. The 33" mud tires are unnecessary for that, but they look quite nice. lol :)

@mikerepmo The 6.0 is a 364 CI, 367 HP beast! haha It has quite a bit of power. I would say the only drawback to the engine (at least in an '08 model) is that it didn't come with an option of a 6 speed transmission and the 4 speed isn't the best platform to get the power to the wheels with. I have some good mods now though, and you can feel the power. It might not be the fastest truck on the street, but for rolling on 33" mudders, you can feel the power. haha I need to make a video for it! lol

when you say 367 stock is that how much horsepower you have at the fly wheell and dont you lost about 20 to 40% when a dealer says so and so hp...when i bought my 08 silverado 4.8 they said it had 295 to 300 hp then i got it dynoed b4 i did anything and it got like 215 hp and that was with 3 dynos no tune it got 215 at the wheel.

@jmc9109 u launch in 4x4 ur gonna be asking for a half shaft to break, the front axles arent meant to have that much torque on them, i have replaced enough of them on customers trucks because when the tire grabs concrete it snaps the half shaft or the linkage rods to your wheel

hey i've owned bouth trucks dodge ram 1500 hemi and chevy silverado 1500 6.0 and the dodge was a better tranny.. whit a super chips programer on the dodge . the rpm holds 6300. and a shift at near 60 and on the chevy whit the super chips only holds 6000 rpm and about 50 if your lucky and the chevy trannys burn out whit it after 5 or 6 monts
