  • There are lines on the road Denny. The camera man has a ruler. They're accurate enough to show when someone is speeding, especially taking speedo under-read and 10%+n into account.

    Stop making stuff up.

  • Speshboy, IF the police had the time or inclination to check each one carefully there would be no problem BUT in reality they can`t cope. They just push out the NIP`s automatically, knowing that most people can`t take time off work to appeal a £60 rip-off for driving safely at 35mph on an open road. The set up seems corrupt that is why I`m complaining and proving the scam is faulty.I`m NOT a speedster, and hate people who drive dangerously(including the police).I believe in REAL road safety.

  • A calculation shows that at 30mph(48.3km)you travel 13.42 metres per second(mps),and at 35mph(56.3km)you travel at 15.65 mps,an extra 2.23 metres and, as the Gatso photos are 0.5 seconds apart, this would show as a difference of ONLY 1.12 metres at a range of approximately 50 metres. For the MAJORITY of borderline `speeders`(at night),this small difference is IMPOSSIBLE to be sure of BUT the Police tell the Magistrates to RELAX as the cameras are TOTALLY reliable(which is a now PROVEN lie).

  • The PHOTOGRAPHIC difference of a car driven at 30mph and 35mph is IMPOSSIBLE to judge visibly, and the judges are DECEIVED into believing the camera is always correctly activated. If YOU are able(?)to do a calculation you will find that at 30mph a car travels 13.42 METRES PER SECOND(MPS), and at 35mph travels 15.65 MPS, an extra 1.12M during the 0.5 sec interval between photos. The last photo is at about 50 M,so it defies credibility you can visibly judge between 48.8M(o.k)and 50M(lose your job).

  • You make this up as you go along.

  • Where is the evidence that drivers are being incorrectly prosecuted?
