@Kramer3279---> Yes it still stands on the street corners of Wailea St. & Laumilo St. The house is very noticeable especially if you're looking for houses made of lava stone. ..Yes this is where I grew up...notice the shots they took of the shorebreak waves. Makapuu, Sandies, or rare shorebreak right @ Waimanalo Beach. summertime only occurring from the South Shore wrap around the point of makapuu...Me kealoha kuu home o' NALO...
Not sure where the stream is--could use some help. Have a guess? A few possibilities. 1) above Nehoa St above where my greatgrandparents lived in1920s. 2) above Nuunanu or where the Likelike highway is now and 3) south or west of of Waimanalo . The mountains should be the clue but I dont live in Hawaii but will be back in July and maybe will figure it out. Let me know if youhave any guesses.
really? ok well im gona look around n ask around at those places because i really have no idea...i should show this video to some of the kupuna down here in waimanalo. but if i find anything i will try let you know:) but thanks for sharing this...this is really a great part of our history!
