@Bethany9595 Plenty of freedom - They live outside on pasture from early May to October. I do everything i can to make sure the cows have a good life. Maybe they produced the milk that went into your carmel shortbread :)
@gtills You use 50 cow rotary and milk 220 cows in fifty minutes. I'll tell you that the teats of all your cows are bleeding and you have to remove the scabs from the nipple opengs every time you milk. I knew a farmer from one such rotary who kept a box full of tooth picks to insert in the teats after milking was done so that it would be easy to open the closed teats. Who are you trying to impress?
@fakir0005 what do you know mate the cows love it. they push each other to get on. they're not rushed or anyhting. they actually have more time on the parlour than in the old one because in the time it took to milk 10 we can milk 50 soooo... plus the fact we have ACR's so they come off when they're finished not yanked off so get your facts straight before you have a go mate :)
@gtills I saw the video again. The cows r very crowded. If u milk 50 cows in the time u milked 10 before u r leaving a lot of milk in the udders. You've been brain washed by DeLavel sales staff. DeLavel has a very high pressure sales team. It has answers for every thing. There job's to sell the worst possible milking arrangement. Only it does not mean that u've the best that is there for a dairy farm. My comments are meant for other farmers who may be tempted to copy your system.
@fakir0005 look mate our parlour is a dairy master not DeLavel. our cows have never been happier they'll give 20 litres by the time that they're 3/4 of the way round and if they havent finished they can go around again so again get your facts straight before you have a go :)
i hate it when they kick some will kick the things off or when your trying to put the things on their udders. A few kicked my father in the face when he put them on.
@lauralovedogs That's why many farmers give such cows away to people who hand milk. Lots of people who r known to receive such cows receive lots of free cows. But most cows will accept the cups if u make sure that the teats r properly stimulated n r dripping well before applying the cups. I've seen millions of videos where the milkers just apply the suction cups without squeezing the stale milk out of the teats and pressing the udders to start the milk flow. These cows will knock the cups off.
@lauralovedogs Thanx for your praise. I never got kicked by any cow or goat. Of course you have to know which cow will kick and restrain her legs by a rope around the legs. It is more difficult to restrain a goat. The only way to restrain a goat is to make her stand on three legs by lifting one of the rear legs way up. I saw one man do it in a video, Do you have any goats now.
@lauralovedogs I was kicked in the head too and those fat biches even tramped on my hand,by the fattest animal in the whole farm, she weight 900kg or something.ouchhh!
Y is this parlor so tight. There is not enough space for the cows to stand. Their bodies are getting compressed by each others. The legs of the cows are pressing the udders of the cows. Is that supposed to be a part of Herringbone milking system? This is obviously a video by Vegans making a case for not milking Cows. It occur to me when I first saw this video. Then I saw how cows and their udders were getting squeezed. The parlor needs 50% more space. 100% more will be better.
@mahafakir if the cows were given more space they would kick around and injure each other as well as breaking the milking equipment. by kepping the close together it restricts their movement
That is some non sense I've never heard of. Such nonsense like milking once in a week so that the cows are not stressed. Do you even know what is stress. If so define itt for me. Do you even know where the teat of a cow is? Do you know if the milk comes out of the teats? U confuse milk with the pee of a cow. That is why r=they do not allow u to milk a cow. I've found hundreds of Videos by De-Laval on U Tube.
@mahafakir Have you ever been in a parlor like this? Had you ever been, you might understand that there is no cows being hurt. Delaval makes excellent products for the small to medium dairies, rotary parlors are more so for your milk factories. 4-20 on a side parlors are easy for the cows to move in and out of, they are only in there for about 6-10 minutes and relatively a low stress on the cow (granted, most of your stress control comes from the ability and intelligence of the farmer...)
@CableMonkey07 I;ve not spent my life monkeying on Cable bars. I've been the manager of largest herds like the ones they had at one time in Ohio. Now they have them in Wisconsin and in California. I've managed herds in Denmark. You do not know any thing about the cows and belittle every body. Why not go chase monkeys on cable bars or look for them on trees in Amazon jungle and leave cows alone to people like me.
@mahafakir your responces are lollerific, by your answers alone I can tell you so full of it that its coming out your eyeballs, no imagination either... monkeys, really? If a cow has cracked teats then that is to blame on the farmer for either not knowing what they are doing or running in a milk factory where they just dont care. Leave milking to you? I would be afraid to let you near my cows... You sound like a milk factory man, the kind ruining it for smaller farmers like me.
@CableMonkey07 Cable monkey dairies are milk factories. You did not know that. They have 1000 cows and over. They have to get the cows in and out. They can't waste a second. Do not tell me that the teats of cows have no cracks. What I mean by cracks the pores in the skin. They will absorb the dip in which the teats are dipped. The cows should be taken away from you by ASPCA. Bless your stars I do not work for ASPCA.
@CableMonkey07 Why do not you go and milk some monkeys. If the monkeys were this close their would be blood all lover. It is only cows that tolerate it and some farmer was talking about the stress level of the cows. How do you know no cow is being hurt>
@hallidayshill What difference would it make what time they milk. The cows do not care if you milk them bright early like midnight or do not milk them until the sun has set.
@farmerboygeorge Farmer boygeorge what are you trying to prove? If you take 3 hours to milk 102 cows have some body else milk your cows. You need only one hour to milk 102 cows in a five stall parlor.
I read lots of crazy things in these You Tube videos. The craziest thing I've read is that u milk 300 cows only once daily. Why do you milk them once daily? u might as well milk them once weekly or monthly. I've nevere heard about the cows being milked once daily. U think u make your cows happy by only one daily milking.
@mahafakir im sorry i did make a mistake. they were milked once daily several years ago when i wasnt working there. they have been milked twice daily for several years now: 4:30am and 3:00pm.
basically, many dairy farms in new zealand have started milking only once a day. this lowers the stress put on the cow of cueing etc and produces better quality milk. a few farms in england now do this too. apologies, clopaldinho
Y do they milk at all? There will be no stress if they do not milk. Every body will be happy. The cows will be happy, vegans will be happy and the cow owners will behapping because they will not be putting any stress on the cows. As I see it the vegans are winning. They are reducuing the milk supply and increasing the prices. It makes no difference to me. I drink soy milk because it is cheaper presently.
i see that you, among thousands on youtube, have looked at this video not because you are a farmer and enjoy farming but because you are a townie vegan who is a member of the rspb and watching bill oddie on the damned bbc. and i can also gaurantee you that milk is in many, many products on the market.
What the fuck you know about Townies. What the hell is your problem. You call yourself a farmer who thinks it is a sin to milk the cows. Now lay off. They are your cows. I doubt you are a farmer. You r a disguised vegan spreading nonsense so that other cow owners stop milking the cows. You are a sicko. Now lay off. I don't want to hear from you. I doubt you have any cows or ever milked a cow or would know where the milk comes from. Now go lay off. Don't argue with me. We townies know all.
@mahafakir as it happens i am a farmer near exeter, england. why on earth am i a sicko? you townies dont know anything about how food is processed and many dont want to know so they dont feel guilty about eating it!!!
@clopaldinho U do not know that many townies know more about the cows than baa humbug farmers like u do. Just watch the Google videos. The young townies do a better job milking cows than farmers. Instead of letting your mouth run let townies like me show u how to increase milk profits. U'd rather have more profit by not milking the cows n keeping the supply low n knocking every body, who talks about cows, as townies. Y not let me visit the farm n show u leave 75% of the milk in the udders.
@mahafakir do you know what happens if you leave milk in the udders??the cow will get mastitis which will become very painful and in some cases will kill the cow.i dont think that this will reduce stress levels of the cow at all.if you really were the manager of dairy herds in america and denmark, which obviously you wernt, then you would know this for yourself. you are a hypocrite!! telling me my mouth is running. we last had a convosation on youtube over 6 months ago and now YOU start it again
I do not think the English have any money to buy any cows since they left India. Where would they get the money to buy their cows and milking equipment. Look at Denmark, Germany, France. The things are different there. They have world class milking parlor, milking equipmemnet. In Australia they have Robots that Massage the backs of the cows to make them feel good about being milked. Stupid English do not have cows to ilk and do not milk the ones they do have.
I've heard every thing. So what it has to do with you. You are a farm help who is not allowed to milk cows. You have the job of loading an unloading bales of hay, wash the manure of the milking parlor floor and other such stuff and you come on put your stupid comments and call every body a towny. You bastard listen to me good. I know more about the cows than the fucking English farmers. There are a few twelve year old English and Canadian boys who just make my life miserable. Lay off.
@clopaldinho I hope they keep you out of it. I hope they have fewer cows and milk them more often to get the maximum milk from the cows than by crowding 3X as many cows as they should in this biggerst parlor.
@clopaldinho You are a nut. You do not know what you are saying. You are a sicko like fbutch. Some cows should be milked only once. These are the cows that do not produce too much milk. If they produce lot of milk they should be milked four times. Why are you talking about cows. Do you even know where the milk comes from. You confuse the pee with milk. The cows pee several times. You must have seen a cow peeing. You thought the cow was being milked.
@clopaldinho You do not know what you are saying. Some times you think they are milked once a day. Some times you say they are milked once a day. Some times you say you work there. Some times you say you worked there several years ago, Some times you say you own the cows. Let me tell you what. Yo know nothing about the cows. you just get a high when you think of udders and you have to say something to cool down.
Are you working for an idiot english man who feeds 300 cows and dows not milk the cows. Obviously you are a faggot Vegan. On You tube there are several videos by vegans singing the virtues of not drinking milk. One fag made a comment that he and his fag shove live Gerbils up each other's ass. This vegan (hotcalibabe01 who'd put up the video) replied HEHEHE & put three arrows to his Gerbil Comment. This vegan does not drink milk but aplauds the torturing of Gerbils. What a shame. Shame on u too
Of course u stuff these Gerbils up your ass and the Asses of poor cows. What else you would do? You are not allowed to touch their teats and udders. So u run around with your pockets full of Gerbils and when the owner is not looking u stuff these Gerbils up their asses and your ass. You should not be allowed in the farm. U r a sicko. T do not u just vanish.
Angus are not milk cows. They are beef cows. They are fatter than the cows shown in the videos. Is your parlor tighter than this parlor? U r milking only once in a day. Make it easy on the cows. Sell 150 cows and keep 150 cows in the milking parlor and milk them twice. If it is a question of labor let me milk all 300 of the cows 3 times a day. I'll give u the proceeds from the sale of 1/5 of the milk. U won't have to spend for the labor, for feeding the cows. I'll incur all the costs.
@mahafakir as i have already said, we do not milk once a day!(but by milking once a day, as many dairy farms in newzealand, as i have already explained, it reduces stress on the cow). as for the aberdeen anguses, we have crossbred them with kiwi fresians/holsteins and swedish reds. the angus provides good fertility and also to prevent dystocia(difficult calving). that is why we have anguses in the dairy herd.
@clopaldinho Why do not let me manage your farm for three months and than you can check the stress level of your cows. It would be less than the present stress level of your cows. Get out of farming business. You have capital to buy the cows. It does not mean you also buy the right to run your mouth.
I do not know where u read milking of 350 cows in one hour. But nothing is imossible if you have lots of milking persons and lot of milking machines. For example if u had 100 milking aachine you would need only about 18 minutes to milk all 350 cows. So who knows how many milking machines they have. If they have rotary that can hold fifty cows and some ten men working the rotary they would finish milking in an hour.
@drum2226 To milk 350 cows you would need a milking set up that allows you to milk 35 cows at a time. You would need at least three milkers to wrk in this kind of parlor.
I did not see that you are a girl. What is so cool? Do you get charged when you see cows getting milked? Would you know any uncool thing if u see one? And why did you say Cool man. Why did you not say Cool girl. Lots of these videos are made by girls disguised as men. I know it for a fact.
@holsteincowboy I think you should call yourself grass boy. The cows will stay in the grass all the time because they like to eat. You've some weird ideas. I know you well.
@holsteincowboy I did not notice that it was HolsteinCowboy commenting. He has some of the biggest farms in the world. How does he milk them on the grass. Besides the cows willl eat worms with the grass. It is very expensive to get the worms out of their systems. Cows, Goats should never be allowed to be out on the grass.
It depends upon how many cows you have. If you have only one cow there is no sense for you to get up in the morning at 3 A.M to start milking 500 cows. You can milk when you get up. But if u have only one cow but you have to go to work at 6 a.m you may have to milk at 4 A.m so that you'll not be late to work. Then the second time you'll milk when you come back from office. If you are at home at 4P.M that would be the time to milk second time. But if u have lot of cows u have to start early.
@johndeere4lyf What type of question it is. The best time to milk the cows is when the udders are full. The farmer has to know when the udders are full. He may have to walk up to a cow and squeeze the udder a little and see if the milk would start dripping out of the teats.
@johndeere4lyf What kind of question r u asking. The cows need to be milked when their udders are full of milk. At most universities there is round the clock milking. The cows are milked when their udders are full. The students are taught how to recognize when cows need to be milked. It is better for the cows. It is more profitable for their owners.
What makes u think it's this milking parlor that enables u to milk 350 cows? It seems to me that u r being paid by this milking parlor company to plug the name of the milking parlor. Yesterday on TV there was a report of cruelty to the cows. The managers hit the cows on the head for no reasons. All the cows have horns burnt out of their head. Even the tails have been removed by burning. That's cruelty to the cows. I hope whatever system u use does not require you to burn the horns & tails.
@adiepug205xs What are you doing in this Google You tube area. You should be busy milking the cows. Milking 350 cows is not a joke. You have to be cleaning them, you have to be cleaning the barn you have to be ordering supplies, you have to be paying the bills, you have to be washing the udders. You have to be bathing the cows. I'm here to convince you to let me work for you. I'd double your milk output.
@awd2702hero I;m sorry I did not see your comment. I'd like to work for you. You would be pleased having me milk your cows. If you comment again that you want me to work for you I'd reply right away. I've a gmail as pundit005
@awd2702hero I just replied to your comment that I'd work for you if you still want me. I did not see that I'm signed in as fakir0005 and not as mahafakir.
well if you ask me you fullas are useless at milking i milk 200 cows in a 18 aside heringbone cow shed it only takes me an hour to milk them and 20mins to do the wash and thats going slow you kunts are fucking dumb kunts if you ask me
I had no problems with the water. I am fortunate. My crops all are good. Please tell the nice old gentlman who milks the cows that he can be my hired man any time.
awesome to hear about different dairy farms round the world, im from new zealand currently milking 430 jesrseys, arshires and fresian X in a 28 bail rotary, takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. in june we are moving to a 40aside herring bone and will go up to milking 600. milk twice a day 5.30 am and 3.00 pm. new zealand is a great place for dairy as its about $7.00 per Kg of milksolids.
I hate milking in this parlor. I would love a new parlor with the alummunium piece behind their ass but milk prices have been rock bottom here for the past 10 years while the supermarkets get VERY rich selling our milk. There is no money to invest in new equipment.
sorry dint mean nothing by the comment, dint even realize it was out of the country.yes move to ca.become a politician, you will be ok,as a regular, gas prices,up,cost of living up,everything went up except for salaries, but we do have alluminum pieces on our cows butts:)have agood day, thanks for the videos
@holsteincowboy Holstein cowboy the cowboys like you leave 75% of the milk in the udders. If they take only 50% more milk they would have more money than they'd know what to do with it.
@fjbutch Your cows are sick. The cows shit and pee when you start the milking process unless you take too much time milking. Like when the cows come inside a milking line they will shit and pee. And if you do not start milking them right away. they will do it after you have started the milking process. I've seen it in Google videos. Incompetent milking. That is what it is.
Don't know what you're on about mate, but I suggest you jump into your vat during vat wash and give yourself a bloody good wash to clean all the shit you've been dribbling...now go and check you're frig'n herd stupid instead of wasting time on the computer.....
@fjbutch You are talking about yourself. You are brain dead. Your brain died when you got kicked on the head by the first cow whose teat you touched. Fbutch stay away from the Google videos. You do not know any thing about what goes on in this world. Let me tell you one thing. Do not let these cows pee on your head. Head is not supposed to be washed with the pee.
im a dairy farmer from Oakparke Holsteins Manitoba,Canada we have 180 right now milking 3 times a day starting 3:30am in the morning to 6am then 10:30am till 1:00pm then 6:00pm to 8:30pm some times 9:00 so yea great fun... not really i hate it
@oakstorm She used to milk only once a day. Then I started badgering her. She got mad at me. I'm not allowed to comment in her videos. But now she milks 3 times. The least you can say is Thank you Mahafakir. Buy you are an ungrateful soul. You still r not milking enough. Not all your cows need to be milked 3X but some of them need to be milked 4X.
Katie, I think you need a new parlor :) I would go mad if i was milking 10hrs per day !!!!! What time to you or your dad start milking in the morning ?
we are milking 700 cows through a 54 bail rotary in nz.ill shoot some footage if people are intrested.takes just over 2 hours.average herd size in our district is 600.our neighbour milks 2000 cows 24 hrs a day milkin.there is a 109 a side heringbone in nz to.dairy farming booming ,prices best ever.hope it gets better there as there is a worldwide shortage of dairy products.
do you putt yellow iodine on the uders to cleen them before you milk and put red iodine on them when you send them back to the pasture? iodine is what we call antibacctirall cleaner in america where i milk.
It should be called sick Dip. Sick dip for so many reasons. The dip makes the cows sick, It is used by sick farmers who milk their cows once in a while instead of every 8 hours, it contaminates the milk in the udders of these cows and further contaminates the milk when the cows are milked prior to the teats being washed and makes people who drink the milk of treated cows sick
@mahafakir Its a bleach\water mix pre dip and an iodine post dip, same iodine that they use to clean an area before injecting an IV on humans... not a whole lot of contamination going on there... Properly used it prevents contamination and infections, also makes no one sick, having drank the raw milk of cows treated with both for several years, I can attest to the fact you are blowing smoke...
@CableMonkey07 You have an answer for every thing. Do not you. I do not care what ever it is called. It makes the cows sick. There are always cracks in the skin of the teats. The milk gets poisoned. It is totally unnecessary. If the teats r injured this dip would not help. If the teats r not needed it is not needed. Y do not you go play with the monkeys or take Oakstorm on a beachwalk. Her bf Josh does not do it.
@CableMonkey07 Cablemonkey they use the iodine on humans. But they do not milk humans. It is cruelty to dip the tits in these iodine dips. Anyway this farm is so badly managed. The cows are so close together. They are kicking the udders of each other. Now I know you call yourself cable monkey. You are a monkey
@fakir0005 I love when someone who apparently has never set foot on an operational family dairy tries to talk like they know whats going on or how to understand cattle... Keep flailing your fingers around the keyboard spewing crap. ASPCA/PETA supporters are the worst of the bunch, they make blind and wild accusations about traditional farming. Yes there are bad farmers out there but you couldn't tell the day and night difference if it slapped you in the face in your downtown loft.
don't get me wrong I love milk, but I hope those cows get some freedom so that they have a life

The cows should be taken away from you by ASPCA. Bless your stars I do not work for ASPCA.
fakir0005 1 year ago
@CableMonkey07 Why do not you go and milk some monkeys. If the monkeys were this close their would be blood all lover. It is only cows that tolerate it and some farmer was talking about the stress level of the cows. How do you know no cow is being hurt>

what time do you start milking in the morning?
hallidayshill 2 years ago
@hallidayshill What difference would it make what time they milk. The cows do not care if you milk them bright early like midnight or do not milk them until the sun has set.
mahafakir 1 year ago
u think u have got a old palour we have a 5 stall palour to milk 102 cows it takes us nearly3 hours
farmerboygeorge 2 years ago
u take too much time to milk 102 cows. You should be able to milk 102 cows in one hour.
mahafakir 2 years ago
@farmerboygeorge Farmer boygeorge what are you trying to prove? If you take 3 hours to milk 102 cows have some body else milk your cows. You need only one hour to milk 102 cows in a five stall parlor.
mahafakir 1 year ago
we have a 60:30 parlour, milking over 300 once daily, they are holstein-kiwi-angus
clopaldinho 2 years ago
I read lots of crazy things in these You Tube videos. The craziest thing I've read is that u milk 300 cows only once daily. Why do you milk them once daily? u might as well milk them once weekly or monthly. I've nevere heard about the cows being milked once daily. U think u make your cows happy by only one daily milking.
mahafakir 2 years ago
@mahafakir im sorry i did make a mistake. they were milked once daily several years ago when i wasnt working there. they have been milked twice daily for several years now: 4:30am and 3:00pm.
basically, many dairy farms in new zealand have started milking only once a day. this lowers the stress put on the cow of cueing etc and produces better quality milk. a few farms in england now do this too. apologies, clopaldinho
clopaldinho 2 years ago
Y do they milk at all? There will be no stress if they do not milk. Every body will be happy. The cows will be happy, vegans will be happy and the cow owners will behapping because they will not be putting any stress on the cows. As I see it the vegans are winning. They are reducuing the milk supply and increasing the prices. It makes no difference to me. I drink soy milk because it is cheaper presently.
mahafakir 2 years ago
i see that you, among thousands on youtube, have looked at this video not because you are a farmer and enjoy farming but because you are a townie vegan who is a member of the rspb and watching bill oddie on the damned bbc. and i can also gaurantee you that milk is in many, many products on the market.
clopaldinho 2 years ago
What the fuck you know about Townies. What the hell is your problem. You call yourself a farmer who thinks it is a sin to milk the cows. Now lay off. They are your cows. I doubt you are a farmer. You r a disguised vegan spreading nonsense so that other cow owners stop milking the cows. You are a sicko. Now lay off. I don't want to hear from you. I doubt you have any cows or ever milked a cow or would know where the milk comes from. Now go lay off. Don't argue with me. We townies know all.
mahafakir 2 years ago
@mahafakir as it happens i am a farmer near exeter, england. why on earth am i a sicko? you townies dont know anything about how food is processed and many dont want to know so they dont feel guilty about eating it!!!
clopaldinho 2 years ago
@clopaldinho U do not know that many townies know more about the cows than baa humbug farmers like u do. Just watch the Google videos. The young townies do a better job milking cows than farmers. Instead of letting your mouth run let townies like me show u how to increase milk profits. U'd rather have more profit by not milking the cows n keeping the supply low n knocking every body, who talks about cows, as townies. Y not let me visit the farm n show u leave 75% of the milk in the udders.
mahafakir 1 year ago
@mahafakir do you know what happens if you leave milk in the udders??the cow will get mastitis which will become very painful and in some cases will kill the cow.i dont think that this will reduce stress levels of the cow at all.if you really were the manager of dairy herds in america and denmark, which obviously you wernt, then you would know this for yourself. you are a hypocrite!! telling me my mouth is running. we last had a convosation on youtube over 6 months ago and now YOU start it again
clopaldinho 1 year ago
I do not think the English have any money to buy any cows since they left India. Where would they get the money to buy their cows and milking equipment. Look at Denmark, Germany, France. The things are different there. They have world class milking parlor, milking equipmemnet. In Australia they have Robots that Massage the backs of the cows to make them feel good about being milked. Stupid English do not have cows to ilk and do not milk the ones they do have.
mahafakir 2 years ago
@mahafakir you obviously havnt heard but the biggest milking parlour in the world is being built just outside of london which is in england!!!
clopaldinho 2 years ago
I've heard every thing. So what it has to do with you. You are a farm help who is not allowed to milk cows. You have the job of loading an unloading bales of hay, wash the manure of the milking parlor floor and other such stuff and you come on put your stupid comments and call every body a towny. You bastard listen to me good. I know more about the cows than the fucking English farmers. There are a few twelve year old English and Canadian boys who just make my life miserable. Lay off.
mahafakir 2 years ago
@clopaldinho I hope they keep you out of it. I hope they have fewer cows and milk them more often to get the maximum milk from the cows than by crowding 3X as many cows as they should in this biggerst parlor.
mahafakir 1 year ago
@clopaldinho You are a nut. You do not know what you are saying. You are a sicko like fbutch. Some cows should be milked only once. These are the cows that do not produce too much milk. If they produce lot of milk they should be milked four times. Why are you talking about cows. Do you even know where the milk comes from. You confuse the pee with milk. The cows pee several times. You must have seen a cow peeing. You thought the cow was being milked.
mahafakir 1 year ago

@clopaldinho You do not know what you are saying. Some times you think they are milked once a day. Some times you say they are milked once a day. Some times you say you work there. Some times you say you worked there several years ago, Some times you say you own the cows. Let me tell you what. Yo know nothing about the cows. you just get a high when you think of udders and you have to say something to cool down.
mahafakir 1 year ago
Are you working for an idiot english man who feeds 300 cows and dows not milk the cows. Obviously you are a faggot Vegan. On You tube there are several videos by vegans singing the virtues of not drinking milk. One fag made a comment that he and his fag shove live Gerbils up each other's ass. This vegan (hotcalibabe01 who'd put up the video) replied HEHEHE & put three arrows to his Gerbil Comment. This vegan does not drink milk but aplauds the torturing of Gerbils. What a shame. Shame on u too
mahafakir 2 years ago
@mahafakir i couldnt care less about gerbils and peoples arses and as for not milking cows well............
clopaldinho 2 years ago
Of course u stuff these Gerbils up your ass and the Asses of poor cows. What else you would do? You are not allowed to touch their teats and udders. So u run around with your pockets full of Gerbils and when the owner is not looking u stuff these Gerbils up their asses and your ass. You should not be allowed in the farm. U r a sicko. T do not u just vanish.
mahafakir 2 years ago
Angus are not milk cows. They are beef cows. They are fatter than the cows shown in the videos. Is your parlor tighter than this parlor? U r milking only once in a day. Make it easy on the cows. Sell 150 cows and keep 150 cows in the milking parlor and milk them twice. If it is a question of labor let me milk all 300 of the cows 3 times a day. I'll give u the proceeds from the sale of 1/5 of the milk. U won't have to spend for the labor, for feeding the cows. I'll incur all the costs.
mahafakir 2 years ago
@mahafakir as i have already said, we do not milk once a day!(but by milking once a day, as many dairy farms in newzealand, as i have already explained, it reduces stress on the cow). as for the aberdeen anguses, we have crossbred them with kiwi fresians/holsteins and swedish reds. the angus provides good fertility and also to prevent dystocia(difficult calving). that is why we have anguses in the dairy herd.
clopaldinho 2 years ago
@clopaldinho Why do not let me manage your farm for three months and than you can check the stress level of your cows. It would be less than the present stress level of your cows. Get out of farming business. You have capital to buy the cows. It does not mean you also buy the right to run your mouth.
mahafakir 1 year ago
@mahafakir for you information we do not buy our cows we keep our calves

to milk 350 cows in an hour and a half ,you either have a super parlour? or your cows have no milk
drum2226 2 years ago
I do not know where u read milking of 350 cows in one hour. But nothing is imossible if you have lots of milking persons and lot of milking machines. For example if u had 100 milking aachine you would need only about 18 minutes to milk all 350 cows. So who knows how many milking machines they have. If they have rotary that can hold fifty cows and some ten men working the rotary they would finish milking in an hour.
mahafakir 2 years ago
@drum2226 To milk 350 cows you would need a milking set up that allows you to milk 35 cows at a time. You would need at least three milkers to wrk in this kind of parlor.

@holsteincowboy I did not notice that it was HolsteinCowboy commenting. He has some of the biggest farms in the world. How does he milk them on the grass. Besides the cows willl eat worms with the grass. It is very expensive to get the worms out of their systems. Cows, Goats should never be allowed to be out on the grass.
fakir0005 1 year ago
@holsteincowboy i persoanlly prefer the evenings because the cows shit more in the morning
TheMathedis 5 months ago
It depends upon how many cows you have. If you have only one cow there is no sense for you to get up in the morning at 3 A.M to start milking 500 cows. You can milk when you get up. But if u have only one cow but you have to go to work at 6 a.m you may have to milk at 4 A.m so that you'll not be late to work. Then the second time you'll milk when you come back from office. If you are at home at 4P.M that would be the time to milk second time. But if u have lot of cows u have to start early.
mahafakir 2 years ago
@johndeere4lyf What type of question it is. The best time to milk the cows is when the udders are full. The farmer has to know when the udders are full. He may have to walk up to a cow and squeeze the udder a little and see if the milk would start dripping out of the teats.
mahafakir 1 year ago
@johndeere4lyf What kind of question r u asking. The cows need to be milked when their udders are full of milk. At most universities there is round the clock milking. The cows are milked when their udders are full. The students are taught how to recognize when cows need to be milked. It is better for the cows. It is more profitable for their owners.

holsteincowboy 2 years ago

That is what it is.

do you putt yellow iodine on the uders to cleen them before you milk and put red iodine on them when you send them back to the pasture? iodine is what we call antibacctirall cleaner in america where i milk.
hatboots 4 years ago
it's usually just called teat dip, pre and post.
kalihat 4 years ago
It should be called sick Dip. Sick dip for so many reasons. The dip makes the cows sick, It is used by sick farmers who milk their cows once in a while instead of every 8 hours, it contaminates the milk in the udders of these cows and further contaminates the milk when the cows are milked prior to the teats being washed and makes people who drink the milk of treated cows sick
mahafakir 2 years ago
@mahafakir Its a bleach\water mix pre dip and an iodine post dip, same iodine that they use to clean an area before injecting an IV on humans... not a whole lot of contamination going on there... Properly used it prevents contamination and infections, also makes no one sick, having drank the raw milk of cows treated with both for several years, I can attest to the fact you are blowing smoke...
CableMonkey07 1 year ago
@CableMonkey07 You have an answer for every thing. Do not you. I do not care what ever it is called. It makes the cows sick. There are always cracks in the skin of the teats. The milk gets poisoned. It is totally unnecessary. If the teats r injured this dip would not help. If the teats r not needed it is not needed. Y do not you go play with the monkeys or take Oakstorm on a beachwalk. Her bf Josh does not do it.
mahafakir 1 year ago
@CableMonkey07 Cablemonkey they use the iodine on humans. But they do not milk humans. It is cruelty to dip the tits in these iodine dips. Anyway this farm is so badly managed. The cows are so close together. They are kicking the udders of each other. Now I know you call yourself cable monkey. You are a monkey
