These chords are obviously eerily similar to "Bridge to Nowhere," and @GarlandBJJ your friend's band sounds very similar to the aforementioned song which was released in '06 with the Chemical City Album as opposed to their release in '10.

@GarlandBJJ Oh seriously, both of the songs, this one and that other band, sound pretty much like John Hiatt's Cry love. And it's not really strange that two musicians happen to get a very similar idea. It happens in scientific discoveries, so why not music?

And your 2:13 part sounds alike because they're both playing in the same scale. Look up how many songs have a G C and D in them. They must all be stolen from the original "G-C-D" guy, hey? Idiot...

Love this guy.
I met him after a show, and he wouldn't have a beer because he had to stay up taking care of his kid so his wife could sleep.
Not often you see guys who sound better in person than on CD and are that down to earth.
