You can still spread the word. Depending on which country you live in and what the official stance on Scientology is in that country (and free speech, for that matter), you could always send letters to politicians and such. If enough people send stuff, they almost have to do something.

Unfortunately, Scientology is just as big a problem in Canada as in the US, even if it isn't as regularly in the news (it wasn't regularly in the news here until recently either; until about six months ago I didn't even know they had a place in Britain, while in fact they have one in every major city).

Operation: Battletoad Earth was also named after Battlefield Earth because that's the title of one of L. Ron Hubbard's many science fiction novels. In the introduction to the book, it states that he wrote it for fun and that it wasn't to be compared with his more professional endeavors. It was published in 1982, long after his "penny a word" sci-fi days.
